Two things are considered a milestone in a boy's life.
One: When he starts to earn.
Two: When he starts to spend.
I stepped the first milestone four years ago and reached the second one...

Four years later

I adjust my neck tie nervously and look at the path adorned with delicate flower petals. The last time my palms had perspired this way was four years back when I had walked through the glass corridors of a firm where I worked today as the personal assistant of David Willson, the top class photographer of the State and my to-be-father-in-law-in-few-minutes. My eyes span the potpourri of colours and the kaleidoscope of cheerful smiles all around me as if all of it is a part of a beautiful dream. I still can't believe that it's my wedding.

Amidst this magical atmosphere, she walks towards me in all her fragility and glory. My heart beats faster even though I've known her for something what feels like a blissful eternity. Smiling shyly, she tugs back a loose strand of hair and looks down to carry the white net frock that covers her soft frame gracefully. Covered in this wonderful and ethereal attire, she's still the Faye Pearl who tugs an astray lock of her hair when shy and I can swear on it that she'll always be like this; elysian and mine.

Before I understand the reel of events that is rolling on the casette of my life, we are done with our vows and 'I do's'. She is in my arms and we are kissing somewhere in the middle of a fairytale that took so long to come true. Surrounded by our friends and families, we cherish our union in its true essence where I am hers and she is mine.
