The next morning, I wake up the same way I did yesterday: morning sickness.
Morning sickness is just so gross to me like no one likes throwing up, and having to do it every morning and it being the thing that wakes you up, it sucks.
I finish with my morning sickness and then take a quick shower.
After my shower, I walk into my closet and put on a paid of white shorts that end a about mid thigh and a hot pink tank top that has a turquoise bow in the back of it and a white anchor on the front.
I turn on my curling iron and put on my makeup while I wait for the curling iron to heat up. Then I curl only the ends of my hair and let my blonde hair fall down my shoulders.
Making sure that the curling iron is off, I walk out of my bathroom, turning off the light. Inside of my bedroom, I slip on some sandals and then grab my iPhone, purse, savings, laptop, and my car keys, then walk downstairs.
"Good morning sweetheart." My mom tells me as I walk into the kitchen. "You going somewhere?"
"Good morning, and yes. Jake and I are going to meet up and put the savings that we have been saving for years together and see how much money we have, then go apartment searching. We want to move in together as soon as we can so that he can be here for me for this pregnancy and we can get all settled in and everything before I get too far along." I tell her, getting some cereal as I speak.
"Wow, you two are definitely handling this very maturely and responsibly." She says as my dad walks in.
He kisses my mom and then kisses my forehead.
"Good morning my two girls. How are you today?" He asks me.
"Good, Jake and I are going to start searching for apartments today." I tell him, taking a bite of my cereal.
"Well, good luck."
"Thank you. What are your plans today?" I ask the both of them.
"I'm going to do some gardening with Kaylee." My mom says. We have this huge garden in our backyard that she has had for as long as I can remember. She gardens with both me and Kaylee, it's like a bonding experience for us.
"And I'm taking the boys to the Texans game." My dad says. My mother and sister and I have gardening, but my brothers and dad bond through football.
"Well, that sounds fun." I tell them, finishing my cereal and putting it in the sink.
"Okay, well I gotta go meet Jake. Have fun today and I should be home for dinner." I tell them, hugging them both.
"Okay, have fun, good luck. Be careful. I love you." My dad says and I smile.
"I love you too. You both have fun today too." I tell them, walking out of the kitchen and out the front door to my car.
I plug in my phone to the bluetooth in my car and then pull out of my driveway and drive to the McDonalds that Jake and I are meeting at.
Once I get there, I pull into a parking spot and grab my laptop, purse, and savings then getting out of the car and walking into McDonalds. I order a breakfast sandwich and then go to the table Jake is sitting at.
"Good morning dear." I tell him, giving him a kiss, then sitting down.
"Good morning beautiful. How are you today?" He asks me, smiling.
"Good. I have morning sickness and that sucks, but other than that, I'm good." I tell him.
"That sucks. I wish I could be there for you during that."
