Farkle's Pov

I woke up to Riley shaking me rapidly.
"Farkle get up I need to show you something"
She got my clothes for me and kept hurring me.
"Riley tell me where we are going"
"You'll see"
I finished getting dress and she dragged me out the window. We walked for about 2 blocks then 3 then 4....
"Riley..."
"We're almost there"
She turned to a right and entered an abandoned park. It was torn up and run down but in its own strange way it is beautiful.
"You see it too"
Riley came out from behind me and gave me her cute smirk. We both sat down on the swing set and gently rocked ourselves.
"You see the beauty underneath the
Ruble I can see it in your eyes"
"Riley why have you taken me here?"
"Farkle before me and you ever happened I was always came here everyday to just to think. I felt like nobody loved me. My parents and I are not that close. No matter how many times they change my life I know nothing about them. Even Maya I felt I was her shadow that always followed her. Farkle I didn't feel loved."
Tears startes coming out of her eyes slowly dripping down her face. She rested her head on my shoulder and held my hand.
"Riley I have loved you and I have always cared for you ever since the first grade, that will never change"
"I would never want that to ever change"
"Then don't let it"
We both smiled and stared at eachother. Riley's grip on my hand got tighter and so did mine.
"I love you Farkle"
I leaned in, my face just inches from hers. Her eyes gazed into mine, my eyes slowly closed, and I felt the warmth of her gentle lips.
"I love you too Riley"
She smiled and got off the swing. She held out her hand for me to take and when I took it we walked off into the light that waited for us.
"We better hurry or my parents will know we were gone"
We ran with out hands held tight together never wanting to let go.
