"So who do you think we'll get for a teacher?" Kiba asked around a mouthful of food. Normally I find that kind of thing piggish and gross, but with Kiba it was actually kind of cute to watch him. He didn't show his food when talking, but instead reminded me of a squirrel with his cheeks full of acorns. It was actually adorable now that I really thought about it.

"Do you have any manners." Shino grumbled. "You don't talk with your mouth full." I could tell Hinata was trying to laugh. We've only been eating for a few minutes, but already Kiba and Shino were arguing. It wasn't as if they were bad or anything, but it just seemed the two were a lot different and this meant they didn't see things eye to eye.

"Fine." Kiba said after swallowing his food. "But you didn't answer my question."

"How could anyone understand you." Shino mumbled, but he went on to answer the question anyways. "And I don't know. It's not like we even know the teachers that will be involved with the groups therefore I can't tell you which one I think we'll get." I bit into my food as I watched the two arguing. It's too bad my group couldn't be so entertaining and adorable when arguing.

"Hey, Kazu?" I glanced over at Hinata and cocked my head to the side in question. Hinata got my hint and asked what she wanted. "Do you think.... Do you think Naruto knows my name?" I loved Hinata. I really did, but she was just too shy and it made her seem a bit strange. I understood her, but most just ignore her presence. I didn't want to tell her the truth and say he most likely didn't, but lying wouldn't be good either.

"I don't know. I never really talked to him." I decided to say. Hinata just nod and lowered her head as she ate. "If you want I could talk to him about you. See what he says." Hinata's eyes widen and she looked at me like a child on Christmas morning.

"Really." I gave her a smile before sipping on my drink.

"Why do you care if a loser like Naruto knows your name?" Kiba asked. There was no anger or harshness that most would have in their tone when saying things like this about Naruto. his voice was just filled with confusion and curiosity. He was generally confused as to why someone would want Naruto to know them.

Hinata started doing her nervous finger habit, while also blushing. I knew she wouldn't be able to answer without embarrassing herself, so I answered for her. "She wanted to know if Naruto knew her name because we had been talking about meeting each other after training and we thought it'd be weird if my teammates didn't know Hinata." I told them, lying straight through my teeth, but in a flawless style. "I mean I already know enough about you two that it doesn't matter, but the others don't really know Hinata, which was why she was asking." Hinata gave me a grateful look as Kiba just thought over my answer.

"You're weird." Kiba finally said as he took another bit of food. I just shrugged him off because I didn't care what people thought of me. Things like that is just wind in my ears.

Akamaru was laying peacefully beside Kiba, munching on his own food, when suddenly he looked at me with great interest. I chose to ignore it as I went back to my food, but having those dogs eyes on me made me feel naked. As if the puppy was take me apart one piece at a time and analyzing every inch of me. Suddenly Akamaru got up, getting both Kiba's and mine attention, and he sat in front of me. I raised an eyebrow at the dog, but before I could do anything, Akamaru climbed on my lap and curled up. Kiba seemed stund with Akamaru's actions as much as I was. Did he normally climb into strangers laps? "Akamaru normally doesn't take to people so easily." Kiba said as the other two continued their lunches. "If he's bothering you...." Kiba went to get Akamaru, but I shook my head.

"He isn't bothering me." I told him as I ran my finger tips over the dog's head. Akamaru made a small little noise that made me believe he liked my touches. I continued petting Akamaru as I continued my lunch. He wasn't heavy in my lap, but was a more comforting weight. He smelt better than I thought too. He smelt like the woods for sure, but he also smelt minty. His fur was soft and smooth. He was warm against me and I could feel Kiba watching us the whole time Akamaru sat with me.
