Harry Potter and a Change in Time (Albus X Scorpius)

New Begginings

⬆️Albus:

I eagerly awaited to arrive at Kings Cross station in heavy traffic.

"Dad we're not going to make it, it's 10:45!"

"Albus, what have I told you, you'll get to Hogwarts, and anyway I have some business with Professor Mcgonagall."

"It's not Hogwarts I'm worried about, it's Scorpius."

"Ohh your little boyfriend?" James cuts in and Lily hits him.

"James!" Ginny shouts. "Are we going to have to put you in a muggle school?" James eyes widen and he doesn't make another sound during the whole ride.

"The train will be leaving any moment!" Our mum says as we run between platforms 9&10 to see the scarlet red train.

"Draco" Dad said.

"Potter" Draco replied.

"SCORPIUS!"I yelled.

"ALBUS!" He yelled back and we both collided into a awkwardly long hug. I could smell the cherry blossom shampoo in his hair.

"You four better get on going now." Mom said and we said goodbye and boarded the train.

As I started off I noticed Scorpius whispering to his dad, it looked as if he was reassuring scorpius, but I just brushed it off and waited for him to catch up.

"What did you do all summer Albus?" He asked me once we were in the compartment. 

"Nothing much, just waiting to talk to my best friend again." I said.

The fair haired boy smiled a big smile and clobbered me in another hug.

"O-ok can-can't breath!"

He pulled away and giggled and blushed.

"Hey Albus I've been meaning to tell you that l-I li-"

"ANYTHING FROM THE TROLLY DEAR- oh-er." The TROLLY witch cut Scorpius off and just continued walking once she saw us.

"Seriously Scorpius, I think she has a grudge against us. Anyway what were you going to tell me." 

"Oh nothing, I didn't- it's not- I'm- it's not important." He looked slightly hurt and insecure.

"Hey-" I reply getting up to sit next to him."you know you can tell me anything right, what's wrong?"

" I have feelings for someone, but they could never feel the same back, I just know it." He said softly sobbing into my shoulder.

"Hey, you don't know that, who's the lucky girl?" 

"That's just it, the person I like is-" at that moment Rose burst in the door.

"Rose this is not a good time." I told her. "Fine, but put on your robes because we'll be arriving soon." And she walked out the compartment.

Scorpius wiped his tears as his sobbing calmed down.

"Come on change your clothes on, I won't look." I said as I cover my eyes with my Slytherin tie, and he did the same with me.

Rubeus Hagrid greeted us and piled us onto thestral pulled carriages.

We were put onto a cart with Rose, Lily, and James. There wasn't much talking and once we got off we went our separate ways.

On the way into the Great Hall a figure with long black hair stepped in front of us.

"Well, a Potter and a Malfoy in the same year. I was pleased to see your names on my class register. I expect the greatest effort from you two." Snape says to us and we were too shocked to answer before he walked away.

"Albus." Scorpius started. " isn't he suppose to be dead?"

"Yea."

"What else has changed?"

"I don't know."

Inside the great hall first years were anxiously waiting to be sorted into their houses.

"Welcome, welcome to another year at Hogwarts." Headmaster Mcgonagall spoke." Before we begin, I would like to say we have a special announcement after the sorting hat ceremony." And she read the names of all the first years then she continued.

"We have three special guests attending our feast tonight, they should be arriving any moment." And a few seconds later my dad  Hermione and Ron appeared out of thin air and all the students applauded.

"Now she continued me Mr. Potter, our lovely minister and her husband want to reward our own Rubeus Hagrid with a special reward for protecting the school."

At that moment a pure white owl flew in and dropped a letter in front of Hagrid, and he opened it to read aloud

"Dear Mr. Hagrid,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment." He said happily sobbing, and he got up bumping the entire table and gave everyone as big of a hug as he could give, after the crowd settled down Mcgonagall continued more.

"Hagrid, I will be taking this-" she took his pink umbrella and used a incendiary charm to burn it. He was slightly confused. "Because Mr. Potter here will be taking you to Diagon Ally, just as you did to him."
