3rd person POV
"Clary, what are you talking abo-" Jace started, but got cut off by Clary who held a hand in the air to silence him. She heard a hissing noise and smelt something nasty. Demons.
"Magnus," Clary said, "Call the Clave. We're gonna need a lot of reinforcement. I'll call Simon."
Magnus snapped his fingers and suddenly there were many shadowhunters around them. "Oooor you could do that."
"Clary! What the hell is happening!" Isabelle yelled. "I'll explain everything later. Right now, we have a battle on our hands. Now listen up. I want all you three to hide and get out of here. I can't risk you guys getting hurt. Is that clear? Good." She added without waiting for an answer. They got the message and hid at the corner of the alley that headed out toward the street.
"Alright. You got demons, we have shadowhunters." Clary said. "Let the games begin."
Jace, Alec, and Isabelle were hiding behind the wall peeking through to see what was happening. Jace's gaze was locked upon a a certain red head. Clary was gliding through the air with angelic graze. In her hand a glowing sword. There were a bunch of slimy black creatures everywhere you looked. You looked left. Demon. You looked right. Demon. Up and down. Demons. He started to look around until he saw two people with jet black hair. It was Robert and Maryse. Jace looked towards Izzy and Alec to see if they had just seen what he had seen. They looked back at him and that was when he realized that what they saw had been what he saw. A scream tore me out of my thoughts and saw that Clary was on the floor bleeding.
Clary's POV
A demon had wrapped an arm around my leg and I couldn't hold it in anymore. I screamed as loud as I could. As the demon was about to sink it's teeth into my neck, it let out a scream and evaporated into ashes. It was then that I realized there weren't any more demons around and Sebastian was above me.
"Ah little sister. You we're always one to lose. I guess we should just end it here now." He said as he lent down and positioned a dagger to where my heart was.
"Goodbye Clarissa."
"No. Goodbye, Jonathan." I whispered in his ear as I brought the Morgenstern sword up and through his chest. He fell back and tore the sword out of his chest. His eyes were closed and his breathing was ridged. I crawled to his still body and put his head on my lap. He finally opened his eyes and a breath was caught in my throat.
His eyes were green.
"Jonathan," My voice barely a whisper.
"Clary, I'm so sorry for everything I've done. It wasn't the real me. It was him. The more I tried to fight off the demon blood, the stronger he became. I couldn't stop him. I would get it if you hate me."
"I don't hate you, I hate him. I don't know you. I wish we had more time together, Jonathan. I do love you. I will always love you."
"Thank you. For everything. I love you Clarissa." And with that said he took his last breath with a small smile on his face.
"Ave atque vale in perpetuum, frater. Hail and farewell forever, my brother." I whispered as the darkness consumed me and I was left in a dark oblivion.
