Chapter 8- I Was Numb To All The Pain

(Dom's POV)

I sat there waiting for the nurses then I saw her come up to me and she said,"She had some infections in her wounds it's common. But she was so skinny and fragile her body is highly sensitive to these things. She's only human I can't believe someone would do this."

I nodded and she said,"she'll be out in awhile I would get some rest if I was you. You look like you need it."

I was relieved then I just sat waiting to see her again. I just need to hear her voice something about it calms me.

Then I see hector and his crew walk in I walk over and said,"what are you doing here?"

"She's my familia man she's like my baby sister." I nodded and he said,"How bad was it this time?"

"It was bad" We walked to the corner and I told him everything and he said,"yes finally someone sent Satan back to hell. It was about time."

We sat down and waited and waited and waited it took almost 4 hours the nurse came up and said,"she won't be awake for a while, it was hard she will be on bed rest 3 weeks they almost lost her 3 times."

I nodded and said,"thank you you've really helped me."

She smiled and I went in there she didn't look that different. Those 3 weeks she will be treated like a queen. She's staying in my room we've already moved everything I have the biggest room and bathroom.

She's made me soft and I kinda like it. I don't know what she's done to me. Hector was watching her while I slept. I woke up to see Tej and Roman they were laughing at me.

"What's so funny?"

"Look in the mirror."

I walked in the bathroom and saw they had drawn all over my face. I walked out pissed off and they ran while yelling "NOT SORRY!"

I just sat down and was watching tv luckily most of it came off. They are in for it next time I see them and believe me it'll be good. I looked at Brittany damn she's so tiny and beautiful.

I don't know what it is about this girl that I love so much. She just makes me sane, she makes me feel normal not some angry freak and that's not easy to do.

I waked out and got a soda and chips I was watching a movie then the nurse came in and said,"husband?" I shook my head "Boyfriend" I nodded.

After she checked her vitals and everything she left and Brian came in I looked at him. Then he looked at me and said,"He has been charged for so many things, i don't even know how he's got out. But now he's done for good."

"Thank you" he nodded

"No really thank you. For all you have done."

"Don't worry I'm just glad we could help her. Well i have to go i will come back later." i nodded and he left next thing i know there was a knock at the door. I look back and see Vincent.

"What are you doing here?"

"I just wanted to see how she was doing I loved her too you know. So how is she?"

"She's weak and they keep losing her. I don't know what to do I'm so in love with her it hurts to see her like this."

"Well I have to go to the shop I guess I'll see you later." I nodded and he left. I really can't stand him right now. Why would he leave Brittany at her time of need of he loved her he would've stayed I know him.

I'm waiting in her room I turn on the tv and watch the game. After a while I fell asleep.
