Chapter 10: Hospital Stay

(Brittany's POV)

*beep....beep..beeeeep*

"Ah b-b-beep the hell off! My god that noise is so a-a-annoying"

I heard a chuckle and look to see Roman standing in the doorway. Then look over Dom must've left for his meeting while I was still asleep.

I smiled I was so happy I haven't seen him in 7 years God I miss him. He walked over and sat down next to my bed.

"What's up hot stuff?"

"Shut up ya b-b-big flirt, I've missed you so m-much"

As I was remembering all the memories I didn't even notice I started crying silently, I was knocked out of my thoughts when I felt him wipe my tears away. I sniffled as he was looking at me confused and concerned.

"I'm fine Roman don't w-worry"

"Brittany you're not fine. It's going to take some time before you get to being close to fine. That man was a monster who did unimaginable things to you. I wish I would've helped earlier..."

I place my hand on top of his and looked him straight in the eye and said," You did w-w-what you guys could I was just glad to h-have y'all as long as I did. But I don't wanna talk about all that stuff that's the past. So what's l-l-life like for the big man now?"

He chuckled "Awe you know girls all over me all the time."

"Don't listen to him that big ass head is getting to him" Tej said as he walked in laughing Roman smacked his arm he sat on the other side of my bed and held my hand.

"I've missed you so much Brittany you were our sister it was so hard to see you leave."

I started crying I covered my face with my hands "I've m-m-missed you both so fucking much you don't even know. I miss our r-races and just hanging out in the shop. I m-missed my brothers."

They both hugged me and Roman said,"Well now you're stuck with us because we are never letting you go again."

I just smiled "I'm not g-going anywhere everything I want is here you guys,new family and....D-Dom" as soon as I said Dom they both smirked and I blushed a deep red.

"Well at least he's a good guy he won't hurt you but if he does anything he'll have hell to pay." Tej said and laughed but you could tell he was very serious.

I just laughed then we just talked about what's happen they told me about all their missions. Braga,Hoobs,Shaw and everything damn they've done a lot of shit then we just watched tv I looked at the clock and 5 hours passed by.

Then they had to leave I was so sad to see them go. But I just watched tv and then my nurse Jake walked in " hey Brittany it's time for your daily walk." I just nodded and he helped me up Jake's really nice he's fun to be around Dom doesn't like him though.

I get back to my room and see that Dom is back and looking for me I silently laugh as his head turns towards me and Jake. When Dom saw Jake he looked almost....jealous but I'd never ever like Jake like that i want Dom and only Dom.

Jake helped me down back to my bed and said," well I guess i'll leave you to it..bye our next is in a couple hours i'll bring food soon."

He looked scared as he walked out and I felt bad for him Dom can be very intimidating..but not to me all I see is a big ass teddy bear. He's sitting looking at the wall so intensely so I say, "whatcha thinking about?"

"nothing."

"awe come on there's something on your mind what's got you thinking so hard?"

"You."

Shocked by that one word I don't know how many emotions I felt in those few seconds...too many. I just sat up on my bed and held my side in pain and said,"W-w-what about me..?"

He looks me dead in the eyes and just stares for a few minutes but it felt like years. He stands up walks over and sits on the bed hold my hand and looks at me and says,"Everything about you just amazes me all you've felt with and still are this bubbly happy person. I honestly don't understand how you could still be like this after everything but all I know is i'm so attracted to you in every way. You are like a dream come true and I will wait until you're ready but i want you."

I was just shocked sitting there with my mouth open looking stupid i'm sure but all I could do was blink and then he snapped his fingers and said," hello earth to Brittany?" I snapped out of it and just put my hand on his face and said," It's hard to be happy but I knew that I was going to get through it all one way or another. I'm so happy you found me and that you saved me I could've been killed if it wasn't for you and I know you're all I want Dom."

I kissed him and then we were just laying there talking about anything and everything and then he fell asleep I was looking at him then I fell asleep but all I could think was how amazing this man was.
