In the end, I didn't regret meeting him. I regretted much of what happened between us, but I knew I wanted to remember him forever.
I could never be sure if I was better off for knowing him, because I knew I would never have considered a better life if it weren't for him. I would have been content, but would never experience any of the things Liam showed me. Like pain.
