Fools fall in love.
It's not the prettiest sight you'll see.
Thorns and hot volcanos for 364 days out of 365,
Not rainbows and butterflies or fairies.
You'll wish for bliss
But be greeted with an empty void.
Love is not my cup of tea,
I've burnt my tongue far too many times.
It'll tear you apart, rip you at your edges
Make you puny and vulnerable.
Puffy eyes are what it'll leave you with,
Not a content life
Nor a way to numb the pain.
So, be wary,
Because only fools fall in love.

PoetryI dabble with words and come up with poems. Sometimes they're not poems per se, but you get the gist right? Here are a couple I've written. I'm also entering this for The Wattys 2016. Would love your feedback, guys :D
