His heartbeat quickened
The world slowed down
Eyes grew moist
Mind held chaos
He gave her everything he had
Became a changed man
He begged her not to
She left him all the same
He loved her but
It was time to change the game
He walked into her room
Slow and steady
He made his way to the side of the bed
And caressed her sleeping body
Palms began to sweat
Under the thick gloves he decided to wear
He kissed her forehead
Whispered sweet nothings in her ears
Then plunged the knife into her heart
As blood mingled with tears.

PoetryI dabble with words and come up with poems. Sometimes they're not poems per se, but you get the gist right? Here are a couple I've written. I'm also entering this for The Wattys 2016. Would love your feedback, guys :D
