Chapter 4

Jack POV:
When we arrived at the cave Emma demanded to be let in with Will and I and I didn't miss her slipping coins and other valuables into her bodice. "What code is Gibbs to keep to if the worst should happen?" Will asked me. "The pirate's code, any man who falls behind is left behind." I told him. "No heroes amongst thieves." He muttered. "You know, for having such a bleak outlook on pirates, you're well on your way to becoming them. Sprung a man from jail, commandeered a ship of the fleet, sailed with a buccaneer crew out of Tortuga and you're completely obsessed with treasure!" I told him and we came ashore. "That's not true! I am not obsessed with treasure!" Will huffed. "Not all treasure is silver and gold Will." Emma chimed in, likely referring to Elizabeth. "Emma, are you actually going to marry Sparrow?" I heard Will ask and Emma sighed. "Will, I'm falling in love with him hard and fast... If you and Elizabeth get back to Port Royal safely I will be marrying Jack." Emma told him and I heard a thud. Before I could react to Will knocking his sister unconscious I was also knocked out with an oar...

Emma POV:
I woke up in a chair. I looked around realized Jack was bargaining with Barbosa. I dashed forward and sat on Jack's lap, burying my face in his chest. "So she really is your bride-to-be!" Barbosa laughed and I kissed Jack's cheek. "When we see Will again I'm going to punch him." I hissed in his ear. I watched as the Interceptor and the idea of Will dying made me start crying. Jack held me tight to him and everyone stared at us. "He was still on the ship!" Elizabeth shrieked and tried attacking Barbosa. When Will revealed himself and made his deal with Barbosa I stormed over and decked him in the face. "Leave me behind like that again and I'll make sure you never make Elizabeth feel satisfied!" I spat and went back to Jack. When we had to walk the plank I got scared. "Jack?" I whispered and he looked at me. "I can't swim." I told him and he grimaced. "Just hold onto until I can help you." He sighed and I nodded. "Barbosa?" I turned around from the end of the plank. "When you kill my brother, drop off his body for me." I told him sweetly and jumped. I accidentally did an extremely deep pencil dive and found myself scarily deep under water. I tried to swim up but I couldn't get there. I held my breath tightly but finally accepted that I would drown and gave up, letting my lungs empty. I felt someone grab me but I was too weak to do anything. Someone jolted my chest and I coughed up all the seawater in my body. "You really can't swim." Jack muttered. "I accidentally dived deep." I told him as Elizabeth helped me up. "Are you okay? Jack didn't hurt you at all?" She asked. "As soon as he gets you and Will back to Port Royal I'm going to become Mrs. Sparrow." I told her and gladly took the rum Jack gave me. I was glad Elizabeth was a deep sleeper, otherwise she would have heard and seen Jack and I having sex on the beach 10 feet away from her!
