"Great job, boys!" I congratulated as I joined our little celebration.
"A toast! To love and success." Athos said.
We all raised our glasses, though mine was empty because I didn't drink. The men drank their wine and I decided to go into the kitchen for some food.
"I really do love you." I heard Milady say to Athos.
I smiled.
"But he had a better offer." She said.
My eyes widened and I turned around, looking out the doorway to see the men fall to the ground. I heard my brother's laughter and I instantly hid from him.
"The poison wasn't in your drink, but on the glass itself. Don't worry. It won't kill you." I heard him say.
I heard him begin to mutter to himself slightly and I strained to listen.
"Where is she? I know she's here..."
I pressed up against the wall and shut my eyes tight.
"What are you looking for?" Milady asked Buckingham.
"Nothing, dear." He replied. "Nothing at all."
Once they left I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I ran to the sink and grabbed three glasses of water. I brought the men water and stayed with them until one by one they passed out. They were too heavy to carry so I brought them all pillows and blankets.
I stayed there keeping a watch on them over the night until I finally dozed off.

The next morning, I woke up earlier than the boys. I watched them until they all woke up at the same time."Where were you?" Athos asked.
I looked down in shame.
"I'm sorry I was not there right away." I apologized.
"Why weren't you there?" Athos asked again, angrily.
I opened my mouth and looked up.
"She did her best, Athos. There is no need to get angry." Aramis said, defending me.
"Well she should have been there." Athos said, standing up and walking away.
I clenched my jaw and looked down. Porthos patted my back and gave me a small smile. I smiled back and he ruffled up my hair and went to the kitchen. I looked at Aramis and smiled.
"Thanks."
"No need to thank me." He replied, smiling a little and following Porthos.
After that, Athos was never the same.

3 months laterI followed Aramis as he did his round abouts in town. We all had jobs now. Well, Aramis did. We did patrolling together and I got to help him look for things that weren't right. Athos spent his time getting drunk and Porthos spent his money on new clothes. Well, it wasn't his money. He's always handed money now. I wasn't able to get a job since I was a girl.
Aramis and I found a horse tied to a post in front of the market. We put a ticket on her and began walking away, when a strange boy showed up and began to yell at us.
"What are you doing!? Wh-What is this for?! Come on!" He yelled.
"It is illegal to leave animals in the market and allow them to relieve themselves on the street." Aramis stated.
