Emily POV
"So sparks? Or what? Tell me everything Fields." Charlotte leans over the table of the Grille and flashes and suspicious grin.
I chuckle and shake my head, "Maya was...different. I don't know! I felt sparks and everything but it doesn't compare to what I feel with Alison whatsoever. It wouldn't be fair if I got together with Maya while I'm still in love with Alison."
"And just to clarify, you are still in love with Alison I'm-a-fake-lesbian, right?"
I sigh and nod, "sadly? Yes."
We finish eating and Charlotte agrees to drive me home. When I walk in I see flowers and food samples everywhere. "Mother? What is going on?"
"Hello regret of oxygen almost stepsister." Hanna grins at me and Charlotte walks in behind me, making her smile instantly fade. "What is that doing here."
"I am here with my friend, Emily. Shouldn't you be buying a new broom right now witchy?"
She smiles fakely and giggles sarcastically, "Funny. But the last time I checked, vampires had to be invited in." Her eyes narrow at Charlotte and she only smirks at her.
"Right. Where's my mom."
"Oh hi dear!" Mom walks in and smiles at me. "Hey. What's...all this?"
"Oh, Hanna's just helping me get the decorations for my wedding and all."
"But I was supposed to do that. I'm your maid of honor," I frown and she bites her lower lip out of nervousness.
"Right. About that sweetie. I thought it'd be a good chance to bond if Hanna was my maid of honor instead. I'm sorry but you don't really like these type of things so I thought, why make you go through the hustle?"
She's replacing me? Seriously. Her own daughter. I look at Hanna and she smirks, winking at me. "Yup!"
"Mom she can't be your maid of honor! Hanna hates you!"
"I do not! Pam she's lying. All she does is lie. Like how she lied to you about being straight her whole life," her eyes shine at me with a mischievous glimmer and an evil fire behind them.
"Emily stop trying to sabotage my wedding. Just let Hanna do this please."
I groan and Hanna smiles, "alright Pam so. We have the seating charts filled out so as of now we should be all set."
"Oh you're so sweet," she hugs Hanna and smiles.
I jut my jaw out and roll my eyes when the doorbell rings. "I got it," I say and turn around, opening it and instantly feel my heart stammer.
"Ali. What are you doing here?"
"I can't stand having you being mad at me. Please forgive me. I know I've been changing but I'll change back, I promise. We can have a girls day? Just us." She smiles and walks inside, taking my hands and I hear my mom clear her throat behind us.
"Oh Mrs. Fields. Hey," Ali smiles and I pull my hands away from her, feeling Charlotte's eyes on me. I glare at her and shake my head, then smile at my mom who looks constipated as she stares at Alison and I next to each other.
"Hello Alison. Emily, you didn't say she was coming over."
I raise an eyebrow with a slight nod, "yeah...me either, actually."
"Alison. Can we talk, alone?" I drag her upstairs and close my door behind her. "What are you doing?"
"I hate it when we fight. It's not fun. The way we left things was so...I was such a bitch to you and I'm so sorry Ems. Please let's just forget our stupid fight and go back to being us?" She smiles at me hopefully and I stare at her, my heart beating against my chest.
