A Promise Ring

Sierra's Pov

Carlos and I walked back to his dorm room and Jay wasn't there.
"Is it okay if I go take a shower?" He asked with a small amount of pink tinting his cheeks.

"Yeah sure" I replied flopping onto his bed and shooting him a smile at him because he looked absolutely adorable right now.

He came out of the bathroom with the towel hanging low on his waist and water droplets in his hair and across his body, and if I told you I wasn't checking him out I'd be lying.
He got dressed and sat on his bed next to me.

"So about that thing I wanted to give you." He got down on one knee and opened a purple velvet box to reveal the most beautiful ring I've ever seen.
"Sierra Facilier, I know we're both still young and this isn't a proposal or anything but I wanted to give you this promise ring to remind you that I'll always love you and be there for you through everything."
"Thank you Carlos I love it," I said smiling as he slipped the ring onto my finger, then just like the first time I felt his soft lips collide with my own.

Then I heard the door open and Jay walked in and cleared his throat loudly when he saw us, which caused us to pull away blushing.

"Was I interrupting something?" Jay asked sarcastically walking to the bathroom.

"Yeah actually you did" Carlos replied rolling his eyes, pink still dusting his cheeks.

"If you want we could always go to my dorm, I doubt anyone will be there," I said kissing his cheek.

Let me just say that, that was the best night of life.
