All Good Things Come To An End

APHMAU'S POV

The boys come running over to me. Did someone really shoot me. My leg was now an unhumanly color. The pain was unbearable. The poison was spreading rapidly. Nobody knew what to do. Magic would slow the posion down, but wouldn't stop it. So all we did was wait. I had people surrounding me. They were telling me that everything was "ok" but in reality, it wasn't. Then it hit me. The baby. The poision was about to hit my waist line. No...no...no... If the poision to the baby, it would be dead in secounds. I cried out in pain. Everyone was running around me. Screaming,crying, panicking. I needed Aaron.

"The...baby" i managed to grumble out.

This made everyone freeze. They turned and looked at my very large stomach. They all gave eachother worried looks. I closed my eyes.

"I will get Aaron" i heard someone say.

"Hurry Dante~cun"

I hear leaves being crunched, and footsteps dissapering into the distance.

AARON'S POV

I hear my voice being screamed. The oerson screaming was obviously tired. As i rounded a corner i saw Dante. He screamed when he saw me. I must have startled him. He didn't say a word. He just looked down at his feet. I knew something was wrong. I was tryingto think. Was it Tu'la? No it couldn't be. Dante would tell me if it was something like that. Then it struck me. I raised a worried eybrow and looked at Dante's face. Dante nodded. Before he could do anything else I ran. I have never ran that fast before. I had no clue where I was even going. Maybe it would have been better if I didn't run off like that. I hear footsteps running after me. I knew I was going the right way.

When I finally arrived there, Aph was laied down on a table with a blanket over her. I ran up to her and held her hand. She was knocked out.

"What happened" I said sharply.

"Someone shot her with an arrow" Garroth replied happily.

"Why are you so happy Garroth~Kun?" KC asked.

"N...nothing"

"Mmmm" KC groaned.

"CAN WE FOCAUS ON APH" I yelled.

"There is nothing we can do Aaron..." Lucinda spoke.

"Why is there so much blood?" I asked, noticing the blood around her.

"She....thhe...p...poision....im so sorry Aaron" Lucinda was crying?

"What happened" I demanded.

"The baby..." Dante said... "its gone"

I froze. My baby, our baby. I looked at Aphmau. She slept peacefully. She had no idea. She would never be happy again if she knew. She would blame herself. She doesn't need to know. My eyes were tearing up.

"Aphmau...she hasn't woken up in an hour" Lucinda was sobbing now. "We Can't  Loose Her!!" "Aaron can't loose her.." she said.

I was about to loose it. I can't keep back the tears. If Aphmau doesn't wake up right now, im gonna burst out into tears, and i won't be able to stop it. I don't think i ever will. I stare at my hand, still in hers.  I just stare.

"Aph...please" i whisper. "I can't loose you too" i can feel the tears rolling down my face.

Its been 3 days since Aph got shot with an arrow. I have been crying. And i don't care if anyone sees me. I lost the two most important things in my life. I start to think about Lily and Jacob. My wife and Son. The world hates me. Every time i love, i lose. Aphmau is gonna die. My baby is dead. My Wife and Son are dead. I have nobody.

"Daddy?" I hear a voice say.

"Jocab?" I get excited. Then i turn and see Lilith.

"Lilith, come here honey" i say. She comes running over and sits in my lap.

"Is mommy ok?" She asked, giving me a hug.

"Yes Lilith mommy is fine, she is just having a checkup"

"Yay so mommy will play with me soon?"

I looked at her innocent eyes. I hated lieing to her. She was so cheerful and happy. I couldn't take that away from here. Not now. Not ever. I reached in my back pocket and grabbed a stuffed bunny. It used to be Jacob's, now its Lilith's. She hugged it tightly and ran away to Zoey. We exchanged looks. Then she glanced to Aph. He expression was shocked. It looks like she saw a ghost. I felt the hand wrapped in mine tighten. I looked up and saw Aphmau glancing over at me. I jumped up and kissed her. She pulled away and hugged me tightly.

"Aaron--" she spoke.

"I almost lost you" i said, cutting her off. "Do you know what you have put me through. I have been crying for days"

She smiled. I smiled. Then she realized the arrow and looked at her stomach. I closed my eyes and looked down. She started weeping. Then gasping for air. Then it happened she screamed as loud as she could and started sobbing. I could bare to see her like this. All i wanted to do is comfort her. But i just couldn't. I just stared at my toes. Unable to move.

It has been about a month now. Nobody has really said much to Aph. She needed to get out of the house, So I took her and Lilith to a hill. I set up a blanket and Lilith sat in my lap. Aphmau sat plumped looking sorry for herself. That got me mad.

"When are you going to stop feeling sorry for yourself and toughen up?" I said angry.

"What?" She sounded shocked.

"That was months ago, we both lost that baby, and it was hard for everyone, but there are more important things now." I spoke fiercely.

She looked at me in surprise. I smiled. She had her mouth open. Then we both laughed. I don't know what we were laughing about, but it made me happy to see her smile again.
