AARON'S POV

"Gene...."

"Its been too long Aaron"

"What do you want Gene"

"Aaron, I haven't seen you since we were 16 and that's how you treat me"

"Well you weren't so welcome with the thought of being friends"

"Pitty"

"Let go of Laurence"

"You really think I would do that"

"Let go of him"

"Your no fun"

"Fun isn't really my type" i said in a angred voice.

With that said Gene ran up to me. He put his sword to my throat. I let out a gasp of air, still shocked by the impact.

"I gave you a chance Aaron" Gene said in a devilish voice.

"Grrr"

"Hmm.... what kind of punishment should I give you, ooh I know, you took Lilly away from me, so what is stopping me from taking Aphmau away"

"HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT APHMAU" I yell. Then i glance at laurence, of corse he would talk about Aph. That is the reason he left. Gene was just a comfort pillow for laurence to speard his thoights and secret onto. "DONT TOUCH HER"

"Lets make a deal then, shall we, I will let you have laurence, if I can go on a date with Ap----"

"NEVER" I shouted cutting off Gene.

"Geez AARON LET ME FINISH MY SENTENCE, ahem, anyway like I was saying, if Aphmau doesn't return any feelings towords me, then you win and not only do you get your girl and laurence back, but i will leave you alone"

"And if she does?" I choked saying those words. Afraid of what might happen.

"Then you still keep laurence, but I get to keep Aphmau, and I get control over the neather"

Everything in my body was telling me to say no. That laurence isn't worth it. That I love Aphmau and that i would protecy her. But I said

"Fine, Gene, ONE date"

Gene had a nasty grij on his face that I just wanted to smear. He lwt go of me and unleashed Laurence.

"Aaron" Laurence gasps. "Don't do this, Gene will hurt Aphmau"

I look down, knowing that i might have just ruined my relationship with Aphmau.

APHMAU'S POV

I have been looking around all day for Aaron. Dante said he saw him hanging out by the portal, but gave me strict rules to not even go near the portal. Knowing me though I did. So now i am stuck in a jail cell pacing back and forth.

"Aphmau I did this to protect you" Dante said on the other side of the cell.

He walked away and left me alone.

"So your Aphmau" I heard somebody whisper.

I turn to see who it is. He has long, black hair, blue-ish eyes, tall, and pale.

"Who are you,"

"A....friend of Aaron"

"Okay.....and what are you doing here"

"Im here to take you out"

"Take me out?"

"Yeah like a date"

"Sure"

"Wait really"

"Yeah you seem nice"

He smiled and led me to a little area in the forest.

"A picnic" I smiled.

"Yep"

I knew what I was doing was wrong.

*time skip*

We were laughing and walking.

"So...want to do this again sometime" he laughed.

"No" i said.

"But I thought you enjoyed it"

"Don't think I dont know about your little deal, you think I would actually not notice that Aaron had been missing for almost a day and me not go after him"

"but--"

"Bye Gene" i said walking away.

*time skip again Aphmau and Aaron are now walking together around the plaza"

"So you tricked Gene into thinking you were into him" Aaron asked again for the 20th time.

"Yes Aaron"

All he did was smile. I was happy that he was smiling.

"I still can't believe that you got laurence and yourself back safely"

"Yes, but i had to sacrifice you" he looked down at his feet.

"I am happy you did that, i would go on a fake date anyday just to make sure your okay and safe" we both laughed.

HIIIII LOVES💜💜 I AM SO SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN SOOOO LONG, I HAVE BEEN SICK, AND ON VACATION, AND MY BSF BIRTHDAY WAS THIS WEEKEND SO I WAS BUSY THEN TOO. ALSO I AM HAVING MASSIVE WRITERS BLOCK. UGH ITS SO HARD TO COME UP WITH THINGS. BUT THAT US THE BEST PART ABOUT WRITING. ANYWAY, AGAIN SORRY AND HOPEFULLY I WILL UPDATE MORE.
