Chapter 5- You Know You Like Me!

(Melody's POV)

So Trey just asked me out. I haven't given him an answer yet, but I just don't know what to say... I didn't know whether to take him seriously or not... So I decided to save my feelings from any tricks or disappointments.

Me: Well, I don't think this will work out right now...

Trey: *Saddens* Oh...Okay. May I ask, why?

Me: We just met and I'm not really sure if you like me for me just yet...

Trey: *Sighs* Well Melody... It's not a bet or anything. I really do think you're pretty.

Me: Well I'm sorry... Just not right now...

I left as soon as I was done speaking. I DO kinda like Trey... But I'm not sure if he was just asking me out because he felt sorry for me or something.

(Trey's POV)

I walked back into the house and saw Ja'Shayla, Sophie, and Sophia in the kitchen pretending to act "normal"... I know they saw the whole thing...

Me: Y'all saw that?

Sophia: Yea... I'm sorry, man...

Me: *Sighs* No, it's cool... I guess I'll go die alone in my room, now...

Ja'Shayla: Trey, you're so DRAMATIC...

Sophie: Right.... Hey, do y'all mind if I stay here till 7:30?

Me: Well I guess NOT since you practically LIVE here.

Sophia: What's happening at 7:30?

Sophie: I got a date with Jacob...

Ja'Shayla: *Busts out laughing* I thought you didn't like him like that!

Sophie: I DON'T!

Me: You asked him for a favor, didn't you?

Sophie: Yes...

Sophia: What'd you ask him for?

Sophie: To teach me Spanish...

Sophia and Ja'Shayla: *Teasing* Well have fun on your "DATE"!!!!*Busts out laughing*

Sophie: Trust and believe... I won't...

Me: *Rolls eyes* Well I'M just glad that Jacob found a girl who's actually pretty...

Sophie: Thanks... But what did Melody say?

Me: She said that we just met and probably didn't take me seriously...

Ja'Shayla: Well what're you gonna do? You're not giving up, are you?

Me: *Shrugs* I mean... I don't know what TO do...

Sophia: Ask her until she says "yes"... Buy her flowers, take her shopping... SOMETHING!!! Just be romantic for once!

Me: Oh trust me... I can BE romantic... I just don't know where to start.

Sophie: Well you can start off by giving her sunflowers or roses.

Me: *Nods* Okay...

Ja'Shayla: Then later on ask her to go to the mall or something.

Sophia: Oh and when you go there, buy me a necklace.

Me: Why?

Sophia: Because you love me...

Me: Yea, you're right...

Ja'Shayla: Well then what are you waiting for? GO!!!

Me: Alright, I'll be back later.

Sophie: Yea, we know now leave.
