Chapter 16- I Think I'm Starting To Feel Better!

(Melody's POV)

Trey just got off the phone with Sophia. By the sound of things, it seems like she's alright.

Me: So is she okay?

Trey: *Smiles* Yea...

Me: Thank God! *Looks at him* Wow... You really have it rough right now.

Trey: What do you mean?

Me: Your parents died, Sophia wanted to die if you did, you got into a car accident, and you have to worry about me getting on you about Mackenzie... *Looks down* I'm sorry...

Trey: Mel, it's no big deal.

Me: It kinda is... I don't want to be an additional problem.

Trey: You're not a problem. It was MY fault for this happening.

Me: *Sighs* I just wish this never happened... *Lays next to him on the bed*

Trey: Same here... *Puts an arm around her*

-AT THE HOUSE-

(Ja'Shayla's POV)

So... Craig just kissed me and took my food. I. Am. Mad...

Me: CRAIG!!!

Craig: *Talking with his mouth full* Yea, babe?

Me: I WANT MY NOODLES!!!

Craig: No!

Sophia: Craig... GIVE HER THE DANG NOODLES!!!

Craig: NEVEEERRRR!!!!

Me: *Sits on the floor and looks like she's about to cry*

Craig: *Walks over to her and kisses her nose*

Me: *Looks at him*

Sophie: Wow... This is interesting...

Jacob: Let's just watch...

Craig: *Whispers* I'm sorry.

Me: *Half smiles*

Craig: *Goes in the kitchen and makes her some more noodles*

Sophie: WHAAAATTT?!?!?! Ja'Shayla... HOW did you do that?!

Me: *Winks at her*

Sophia: I can't even get TREY to do that for me.

Khalil: Craig's nice. I would've done the complete opposite of what he just did.

Sophia: *Hits him* Hey! I'm right here, ya know!

Jacob: I'm with Khalil on that one!

Sophie: *Smirks at him*

Craig: *Comes back into the room and gives Ja'Shayla her noodles*

Me: *Smiles* Thank you! *Kisses his cheek*

Craig: *Sits on the couch*

Sophia: You're a good boyfriend... You know that?

Craig: Well thanks. It's because I was raised properly unlike the two idiots sitting next to you and Sophie...

Sophie and Sophia: *Burst into laughter*

Khalil and Jacob: For real Craig?

Jacob: Not in front of our GIRLFRIENDS, though!

Craig: You know it's TRUE!

Me: *Snickers*

Khalil: I can't even say anything other than the fact that you eat too much!

Craig: Yea, I know...

Sophie: This past month has been stressful...

Khalil: Why you say that?

Sophie: All the drama that's been going on...

Me: *Puts the bowl in the trash and comes back in the room*

Jacob: I can ONLY imagine...

Craig: *Sits next to Ja'Shayla*

Sophia: I just want Trey to come home... I feel empty.

Khalil: He'll be home soon, Sophia.

Sophia: I sure hope so...

Me: *Yawns*

Sophie: What, are you tired?

Me: *Shrugs* A little...

Craig: *Holds her and starts singing her to sleep*

Jacob: Oh, so you SING now?

Sophie: He's always sung. What about you?

Jacob: I talk...

Khalil: *Starts dying of laughter*

Jacob: You're one to laugh!

Khalil: Dude, I sing!

Sophia: Oh, really?

Khalil: Yep!

Craig: *Continues singing not paying them any mind*

Me: *Falling asleep*

Sophie: Then spit something, fool!

Khalil: *Starts singing*

Sophia: Aww! He can sing!

Khalil: Well thank you!

Jacob: He sounds aight...

Sophie: Oh, yea? Well why don't YOU sing?!

Craig: *Scoffs as he gets up from putting Ja'Shayla's head on a pillow*

Jacob: I don't sing.

Sophie: Oh, really?

Craig: REALLY!!!

Sophie: Exactly. So shut up, Jacob!

Khalil: I think it's time for us to go home...

Craig: I JUST put Ja'Shayla to sleep!

Sophie: She'll be fine, here. My mom doesn't care.

Jacob: Alright, well we're gonna go. *Kisses her cheek*

Sophie: Bye guys!

Khalil: *Kisses Sophia* Bye!

Craig: *Kisses Ja'Shayla's cheek*

Sophia: Alright we'll catch y'all later!

Craig: Cool!

Sophia: *Lets them out and closes the door*

-AT THE HOSPITAL-

(Melody's POV)

It was getting late, so I told Trey that I should get going...

Trey: Okay, well could you check on Sophia in the morning please?

Me: *Smiles* Sure thing!

Trey: Thanks.

Me: See you later...

I walked out and went home. Guess I should tell my mom where I've been before I get grounded...

So... That's how THIS chapter ends. Sorry guys, been in school... But I'm OFFICIALLY out for the summer! What will happen in chapter 17??? Guess we'll find out!!!
