Be My Queen (Sequeal to: "The Mafia boy")

Part 16

It's been three months since Natsu and I moved in together and actually, Natsu got a house. For just me and him and the baby. Of course he still goes out and does his mafia business and I don't interfere. Our house is actually not to far from the house where Gramps and most other Mafia members and they're families live. And just like how I am, the women don't get involved with the men's work.

I've heard that the most we do is go on meetings or things like that just to be there. Other women in the family has done so for they're husbands. Me and Natsu aren't even married. So of course he would ask me to do something like that.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door opening. "Lucy, I'm home." Natsu announced as usual. I walked out of the kitchen and met him at the door. "Welcome home." I greeted him followed by a kissed and him placing his hands on my belly which is  starting to show my pregnancy. Ever since I told him about the child he would put his hands on my stomach. I pulled away and headed back towards the kitchen where I was cooking dinner. "Was your day very eventful?" I questioned as I stirred the sauce. "Not really. Just signing papers and going to the club. Just the regular." This was always his answer. But I didn't push him into telling me the truth. I was fine with not knowing about his mafia business.

"Dinner will be done in a sec. Just go upstairs and wash up." I commanded and of course Natsu did so. It didn't take long for me to set up our 4 seating table and add the final ingredients to the dish. I heard Natsu heavily walk down the stairs as I set the last dish on the table.

"Awe, Lu, dinner looks wonderful. Your a great house wife you know." Natsu compliments as he walks behind me and wraps his arms around me. We stood their for a sec until he kissed my cheek. "Thanks for the compliment Natsu but we're not even married." I argued as me and him sat down.

"Oh, Natsu I have a question."

"What is it?"

"After I have the baby and recover from the birth and everything I was wondering if I could train with Erza?" I scarcely asked as I took a bite.

"Um, yeah sure, but why do you, if you don't mind me asking?" He answered as he set his silverware down and looked at me. I don't make eye contact. "No reason. I just want to stay in shape." I explained as I played with my food. "Well, it's okay, I don't mind you exercising with Erza. But Lucy, are you feeling okay. You've been playing with your food and barely touched it." He questioned as he took another bite of food. "Yeah, I'm fine, just not really hungry." I explained.

The room was filled with silence as we ate our meal.

It wasn't till after eating and doing the dishes and cleaning up that we talked again. "Hey Lu." He grabbed my attention and I lift my head off of his shoulder and looked at him. "Yeah." He looked back at me and ran his fingers through my hair. "I have a meeting I need to attend to tomorrow and I'm allowed to bring someone with me. Would you like to come?" He explained and asked. "Um, yeah sure." I accepted. He kissed my forehead. "Great I'll pick you up after work, oh, and I'll bring you an outfit to wear so don't worry about that." He explained. I nod my head. "Oh shit! I forgot. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow." I cringe. "What time tomorrow?"

"1:30"

"Okay, I'll take you there."

"But Natsu, what about work. You usually don't get off till 5."

"Lu don't worry about that. When I say I'll take you to the appointment, I'll take you to the appointment. Alright."

"Okay. I'm heading to bed then." I say and get up for my spot on the couch. "I'll be there in a sec." Natsu said as I walked to our bedroom.
