Be My Queen (Sequeal to: "The Mafia boy")

Part 18

The business meeting ended with no casualties. It was clean and simple. Talking to Natsu about this meeting and he said it was very rare to have meeting like that. We walked outside of the casino and a gush of cold air hit me. I wrapped my arms around my goosebumped shivering body and look up at the sky. It was already dark. The sky was clear, lit up by the full moon.

I felt a cloth gently slip around my shoulders. Looking down at my shoulder I saw Natsu's suit jacket on me. "But aren't you gunna get cold?" I asked as I turned my attention to him. "I'm fine. I'm more concerned about you and the human growing inside of you." He said as he rubbed my back. I unwrapped my arms from me a grabbed the edges of the suit coat, bringing it closer to me to keep me warm.

I heard the chirping sound of our car getting unlocked, seconds later my car door was opened for me. I looked up with a smile and a quiet thank you as I slide into my seat. He replied with a your welcome before closing the door and getting in on his side. I tightened the jacket around me tighter as I wait for the heater to kick in.

The engine started and we were on our way home. It's was quiet before I decided to speak. "Um, Natsu." I said hesitantly as I slipped his jacket off. "I have a question for you." Before continuing I started twiddling my thumbs. "Yeah, what's that Lu?" He questioned. "I um, wannajointhemafia." I said quickly. "What was that Lu?"
"Iwamnajointhemafia." I said slightly slower and hope he hears it. "Lucy. I don't understand you when you-."
"I said I wanna join the mafia." I said normal speed. I start to cringe with regret after I said that. It was silent for a second. "We'll talk more about this tomorrow." He stated. I can tell by how thick the air was that it'll be better off for me to not say a word. So the rest of the ride home was silent.

I know it's short and I feel terrible about putting this one up. But I needed to put something up. My last chapter for this story was posted in October and I don't think that was even a chapter. I think it was an update in the story.
