Verse 6 to 8; the tongues were interpreted to all unbelievers witnessing the manifestation of the apostles as their mother's tongue. As if every apostle spoke all their different languages and these men came from different parts of the world -(God's power is universal, it is not restricted to a particular tribe, country or race). The tongues were interpreted as Arabic to an Arab and to the rest likewise. That the people from different tribes perceived the apostles knew their languages.
Acts 2:16 - Joel prophesy from the Lord in which the Holy Spirit will be poured out on all mankind and His ministers. (Note : this is not part of the chapter, according to 1 Corinthians 14 - tongues are meant as evidence to the unbelievers. If we speak in tongues - The Holy Spirit minister to the Unbelievers and convict them and converting them to Christians by revealing to them about their countenance this was done in Chapter 2 and 3000 souls were saved).
Acts 2:19-20 ; God will give us understanding about knowledge . The Word of God is the fountain of knowledge. The Word can also be referred to as manual for life (Jesus is the Word and He is our role model, we are to live like Christ - Christains).
In this chapter, I discovered that David talked about what will happened to Jesus (is actually in the lineage of David in Matthew 1). How God appointed Jesus as Christ and Lord and made Jesus sit by His throne. God have already revealed to David all these. God gave David a seed to appoint (Jesus). Verse 27 "Holy One"- A man that know no sin. This has been predestined even before the foundation of the earth (in the book of Revelation 4). The Apostles *42-47* were givers and share in bond and loved each others as brethren and they continued in the apostles doctrine.
