"Guys! Tyler is calling me!!!"

"Girl answer put it on speaker so we can hear" Said Nick with a smirk

"You guys better not make any noise or I'll kill you both!"

"Just answer !!" yelled Hayley

I nervously tapped on the answer button

"Hello?" Said Tyler Damn I forgot how sexy his voice sounds! Its ten times better over the phone though!

"Heyyy" I said a bit nervous as to what to say

"Sorry about earlier I had to stop by my dad's office"

"No No its totally fine I understand!"

"Ahh okay just making sure.. So what are you up to?"

I looked over to Hayley and Nick signaling not to tell him that they're here

"Oh right now I wasn't doing much "

"Ahh I see.." he said

the conversation was feeling a bit awkward but I think it's just me. Nick and Hayley were signaling me to talk more.

"And you" I said "are you back home yet?"

"Yea after visiting my dad at his office I went straight home I'm kind of home alone right now my dad is still in his office and my mom is out of the country"

"Wait why do you say you're kind of home alone?"

"Our maid slash my babysitter is here haha"

"You don't have any siblings?"

"Oh yea I do! I have an older brother and sister but my sis goes to college out of state and my bro lives in New York with his girlfriend.

"Ohh I see.. Do they visit much? "

"Not often mostly for birthdays and holidays"

"Awee I'm sorry to hear that "

"It's alright I'm used to it but do you have any siblings?

"Yea I just have a younger brother he's 10 he's a pain in the butt sometimes but I love the bugger"

He giggled to himself " I bet I miss my siblings we would fight sometimes I miss just doing that .. Oh but before I forget to ask I was wondering if you wanted to eat breakfast with me tomorrow? I can pick you up early before school.

I almost forgot Hayley and Nick were there I had gotten up from the bed and I was pacing back and forth as I spoke to Tyler. They began to wave as they sat on my bed and were mouthing the words "say yes!"

"Yea that'd be nice"

"Cool ill pick you up at eight"

"Sounds good"

"I'll text you tomorrow I have a few things to do for my dad "

I was dreading saying goodbye I wanted to talk to him all night long

"Okay" I said

"Bye" he said

"Bye"

I hung up and Hayley shrieked

"Girl another date already!!!"

"Hayley It's just Breakfast..."

"Just breakfast my ass! more like he wants to eat your booty for breakfast"

"Oh my god Hayley you're too much!!"

"She's right " Nick said "He sounded a bit nervous just like you over the phone! he's crushing on you girl!

"Really?" I said a bit confused

"Yes really you're beautiful Carrie don't ever question it " exclaimed Nick

I was bit in denial because I couldn't believe a guy like him could be into a girl like me? I feel like he's out of my league and maybe it's too good to be true. I don't know this guy at all he can end up being a player and hurt me.

I sat and slouched on my bed between Nick and Hayley.

"Guy's but don't you remember I said I'd focus on myself this year and not talk to any guys.."

"Carrie fuck that! Tyler doesn't seem to be just any guy I can sense he's genuine and you know I don't usually say that! I knew Eric was full of shit from the start and I was right but with Tyler my bullshit detector isn't picking up any bull I hope I'm not wrong but I'm a good judge of character you know that!

"Yea Carrie give him a chance not all guys are assholes... " exclaimed Nick

"Fine but if I get hurt."

"Girl keep talking like that and I'll slap the negative out of you" said Hayley

"Yea and I'll help too" Nick yelled

"Carrie I'm not saying to have your hopes sky high but just give it a chance ya know? it could turn out great and if it doesn't we'll be here to pick up the pieces but at least you'll know that you tried and you won't regret it for not giving it a chance."

"Okay guys I'll give it a go"

Present day

When I heard the bathroom door open I felt my heart pounding really hard this isn't fair! what is going on!! This school is supposed to be safe were in the middle of the ocean how did terrorist's get here! I was holding on to Tyler's arm tightly while he was holding Ian in the other.

As we sat in the bathroom stall I calmed my breathing so whoever was in here wouldn't hear us good thing Ian is fast asleep in Ty's arms. I could see the person's feet from under the stall they were wearing big black combat boots. He began to shake the stall door trying to get in Tyler and I were frozen we were panicking but we remained silent and then the man began to shoot at where the stall lock would be

boom! boom! boom!

Ian woke up and began to cry. As the man got the door open everything felt it was going in slow motion the man stared at me first with a blank look in his eyes he didn't think twice he aimed his gun at me and shot me in the chest. I felt a sharp pain and it radiated throughout my whole body, everything began to fade until it all went black.
