You sat alone in your closet, the darkness covering every aspect of your mind. The tears streaming down your face seemed to have found a permanent home there. You stare at your phone, the light blinding you. You wanted help, you wanted to be able to breathe without it being a painful reminder you are alive. You clutched your phone. Levi was your friend, or at least you liked to think so. Yet you always felt so scared to even utter a word of your depression. Yet, days like this have been coming constantly recently and you were feeling you mind slowly unravel into nothingness.

Your fingers shook as you started to compose a new message.
'Hi' Was the only thing you could think of to say. You wanted to express a storm of emotions into clean text to someone. You aren't aware why you have such fear of reaching out for help from Levi. You trusted him more than anything. Maybe it was yourself you weren't trusting.
You took a deep painful breath as the tears continued to race down your face.
You stared at the one word message. Placing the phone down you stared at the ceiling. You were so helpless even when help was right there. What if it bothered Levi? What if he didn't care as you thought he would? What if telling him one sentence of your broken emotion would tear down the very basis of friendship that you worked so hard to get?
Suddenly, your phone received a text message.

'Want to hang out tomorrow, loser?' It read. You smiled through the tears, Levi will never change will he?

You stared at the screen and another popped up.

'I can see you read this you brat'

Before you could even think to reply he sent another
'actually i'm coming over right now'

Your eyes widened and you hurried to reply,
'No I'm busy, maybe another time?' Your finger were barely able to press the screen, tears were still silently running down your face gracefully as if in a sad dance. Yet they are falling at a least rapid pace.

'Should have thought about that sooner, I am already here'

Sudden regret of giving him a key to your apartment swept over you and you crumpled into a ball, hoping that maybe if you stayed quiet in your closet, he wouldn't find you.
You heard the door unlock and you held your breath, desperate to both be left alone, and to be found.

"______?" Levi's monotonous voice echoed throughout your apartment followed by a sigh.
You heard him walked in what you assumed to be your kitchen. Clutching onto yourself you snapped your eyes shut. Levi has never seen you like this. He has never seen you depressed, considering you never talked about it. You felt like a burden, and you wanted to not be one anymore. You simply wished to be away. Away from all of those you love, because of the fear of hurting them. The fear of losing them. The fear of them thinking differently of you simply because they knew what hell you are going through.

You phone abruptly sounded, and your eyes popped wide open.
Looking at it, it was from Levi stating one thing:

'found you'

He swiftly flung open the closet door causing you to scream while trying to force it shut.

"Come on ______ I brought popcorn and shit."

You stayed quiet, your strong arms forcing the door shut.

"______ stop being a little bra-"
"Go away." you stated, your words broken and soft. Tear began running down your cheeks once more
"Oi, are you okay?"
"Yes. I just love hiding in closets." You angrily spat at him.

After hearing a sigh you heard a distinct sigh, followed by the closet door being swung open with a brutal force.
"Get up."
Curling in a ball, you refused.

Yet, that got you nowhere with Levi. Suddenly you are over his shoulder and entering the living room.

He threw you disgracefully on the couch. "Stay." He said threateningly before walking to the nearby kitchen.

You heard noises but you kept your eyes shut, your knees tucked right near your face. This was exactly what you hadn't had wanted. You wanted to be alone. Rot in peace. Wither away at your own demise. He probably thought of you as weak, and planning to tell you such. You didn't know what to do. Levi was such a large part of you, if he drifted away from you how much would be left?
Suddenly a warm blanket was placed upon you. Opening your eyes, you saw Levi looking down at you. His visage seemed displeasured to say the least. Silently he ran his hand through your hair. That action alone seemed to fill a part of you. You no longer cared of his reaction, springing from the couch you hugged him, clinging harshly on his shirt. The tears calm strongly and just as painfully, yet they no longer seemed alone. You felt arms cover your back and start massaging you lightly.

"______...." Levi said vulnerably, "You don't have to be alone. You don't have to hide. If you ever need me I'll be here."

Those words.
They were the words you have been needing to hear.
You have been needing to hear them in such earnesty, in such stark truth.
In such innocence., In such love.

Laughing through the sobs you gripped harder unto him.
A ring when off in the kitchen, causing him to lightly lay you back down on the couch. "I'll be right back okay?" He said while his soft and understanding eyes hypnotizing yours. "Alright." You whispered, your voice still weak.

You wrapped yourself in the warmth of your blanket and stared at the floor. You smiled, thinking about Levi. The way his lips moved, his voice when he comforted you, the way his eyes were filled with fierce love. You knew it was wrong to feel as if his love went deeper than friends. Yet you knew one thing, you loved him. The fact he didn't leave you during this time meant more than anything to you. It was enough to stay afloat in this flooded mind of yours.
You felt weight on the other side of the couch, and the tv clicked on.
You looked at Levi, to which he responded by grabbing you and sitting you down to the side of him. He then wrapped his arms tightly around you. "I'll always be here." He whispered directly into your ear. The clean, crisp smell of him comforted you.

You knew he wasn't a man of words, yet those words left you feeling as if he sang an entire symphony .

You always simply wished to be away.

Yet now the thought seemed unbearable.

You handed you a warm cup of tea which you sipped delicately.
You felt a need to gaze into his again again and when you did love fluttered through the air.
Levi traced his fingers across you face, and smoothed his thumb under your eye. His set his head down, "I just... I love you okay?"

Tears stained his jean pants, his grip on your face delicate yet also, in a sense, desperate.
With courage holding you up, you gripped his face, making him look at you.

"I love you too okay? Don't hesitate to come to me either."
Hesitantly you moved, kissing him magically.
He reciprocated the kiss.
For a moment you were both relieved of the duties of life. You both focused solely on each other. Worries drifted to the near future, and that was okay for the both of you.
You both had each other.
