Chapter 10: A change in my life

Cassy's POV
Today is the day Nina gets back to school, I'm so excited she's recovered so quickly. The past few days have been hell, for example on Monday our math teacher gave us a test which I flunked and when I tried looking for Bradley to explain what happened that night but Hannah told me he wasn't at school then on Tuesday I got grounded for my math results by my mom and yesterday (Wednesday)i had an argument with Chelsea which brought Jade in the situation and dragged Hannah in it as well.

Today I woke earlier than usual and decided to sort out my life, I need to change my ways and become a better version of me.

I hopped in the shower and washed my hair then got out to look for an outfit, since I had a terrible week so far I decided to go with a dull look so I reached out for my black skirt that reached just half way above my thigh and got my black top that makes a cute crisscrossing by my neck which only shows a small amount of my stomach then paired it off with my black boot spikes and a cute leather jacket.

I went to my makeup table and did my eyes, I went with a dark eye shadow with a tint of brown just to break the black vibes and put eyeliner and mascara, to finish the dark look I put black as night lipstick. I went to my full length mirror to check the outcome and I didn't even recognize the person staring back at me. I quickly packed my books in my bag and cleaned my room then went down stairs to eat breakfast. I still have 10 minutes to get ready so I opened the cupboard and took out the box of honey flavored cheerios and got a bowl and poured milk.

About five minutes later my dad came down and we got in the car. My dad glanced at me and took in my appearance then spoke up.
"You look...um...interesting today?" He wasn't sure on what to say.
"Yea, im trying something different I need a change in my life" I think he can sense my week was shit but what took me back was his comment.
"You know Cass im really sorry that we've been hard on you but you really need to improve your grades, you'r mother and I are just worried about it. So I'll make a deal with you, if you pass your next Math test then you can have a free weekend to do whatever you want okay?" I was really taken back with his words that I had to look at his face and study him just to see if he was joking but he wasn't.
"Deal, thank you dad I won't let you and mum down I promise." Okay so now I need to focus on school and see what i can do, I need to push myself and get at least a 65%.

I got out of the car and went in the school and as I opened the doors everyone started eyeing me and giving me looks, well the girls gave me death glares and some looked shocked and some guys had their mouth opened and some smiled at me and winked which freaked me out a bit so I ignored them. As I walked to my locker I saw a girl with a very good sense of fashion who was leaning on my locker, when the person turned around I almost cried right there, I was so caught up with my grades that I totally forgot about the one person I was looking forward to see.

"Nina!" I ran to her and jumped on her as I hugged her and didnt let got until she pushed me off.
"Cassy! I missed you so much but bitch you messed up my hair and holy shit you look fxcking hot I like the emo thing going on, Bradley doesn't know what's heading his way" we both laughed.

"Thanks" i said but I felt heat spreading across my face and i knew I was blushing because of what she said about Bradley.
"So tell me what happened when I was gone, Hannah told me you went home with Bradley?" That girl has one big ass mouth.
"Yea I did because the girls told me you would only come fetch us at 2 and my parents were going to freak if I didn't get home so he offered, by the way why did you leave to fetch your sister, I thought you guys hated each other." We started walking to Chemistry since we both take the class and the rest of the girls.
"Yea sorry about that, we do hate each other and the reason we crashed was because we were fighting over something stupid. I really missed you and the girls, talking about the girls where are they?" I knew this question was gonna pop up.
"We kinda had a fight yesterday, don't worry it was something stupid." We carried on walking and we heard footsteps running towards us so we turned around and as we did the force or forces pushed us on the floor. When looked up all the girls were on top of us hugging both of us.
"Gosh guys you making my outfit dirty." Nina said while giggling.
"Im so glad you okay oh and im sorry Cass I didn't mean to fight with you, I love you." Chelsea said while standing up.
"Aw I love you too Chels and im sorry too, I love you all very much...even you Jade" we laughed and started catching up with each other's lives then the bell rang to tell us we have class so we took our seats and the day began.

The day was almost over and I had one more subject left which was Math. Today we learning some hard core calculus, so while my teacher was explaining I took down some notes to remember and listened pretty well and after the lesson he gave us a test just to see if we were concentrating in class. He put down the paper and as I turned it over I glanced at the questions and to my surprise "I know what's going!"
"Yes thanks for informing us Ms Blake but please keep quiet in a test" Mr Ford said. Damit this was the second time I've spoken out loud.
"Sorry Mr Ford" I continued with the test and I even had a little bit of time to look over at my answers.
"Times up, please give me your tests and you can leave after." I handed in my test then walked out and waited for my mum to fetch me but 10 minutes past so I texted her asking where she was the she texted back.

Mum: I thought you had photography?

Oh shit she's right I quickly ran to the photography center and grabbed a camera and listened to what the photography coach Mr Smith had to say.

"Okay guys today we going to go out and test our lenses and backgrounds take as much pictures as possible and we will be choosing captain and vise captain, remember enjoy it and let your inner you take over"

im so excited I love doing activities outside, we all went outside and scattered around. I started walking around taking pictures of flowers, birds, butterflies and trees. I squatted which made my ass bigger than normal then I was about to take a picture of a squirrel by the tree but there was a shadow coming over me so I didn't bother turning around because it could be those idiotic people that wanna ruin other peoples work.

"Can you please move, your shadow is ruining the picture" the person still didn't move.
"Please move" but the person didn't budge so I stood up and moved without looking but the figure came back, now im getting pissed. So I stood up and shouted
"Really, don't you have something better to do than piss me off!" And as I turned around i was shocked and embarrassed as I saw my so called figure.
"Bradley?" I was speechless.
"Clumsy, what a heart warming welcome" He looks different like his been working out and he has the two day stubble men get when they haven't shaved and his light green eyes have changed color like a dark green.
"I...a...I...umm" speak Cassandra!
"Well I got to go bye" he then looked straight at my eyes and starred at me then began walking off.Tell him about Saturday!
"Wait! Umm I need to quickly say something" i was so nervous my heart was pumping out of my chest, i bit my lip then looked at him.
"Yes?" He caught me biting my lip and then he checked me out then kept his eyes on my lips.
"I..um.. I wanted to tell you tha-"

"Cassandra this is not chat club this is photography club" yelled Mr Smith from the other side of the garden. So I turned around and yelled back.
"Sorry sir" then when I turned back to speak to Bradley he was gone.
