Chapter 11: are you drunk?

"What do you mean he was gone, someone can't just disappear in a matter of 5 seconds!" As soon as photography was finished my dad picked me up and took me home but left straight after telling me he has a very important meeting and he would be back later tonight. I said my goodbyes and went to my room to call Nina and tell her about my embarrassing afternoon.
"He disappeared as in I turned around to say sorry then turned around to look at him again and he was gone!" This is really stressing me out.
"Maybe... he's a vampire, ah lucky bitch, I want a vampire boyfriend no actually I want to be a vampire." She's going way off topic. My week has been pure shit and I'm so glad it's Friday tomorrow, I will probably spend my weekend watching orange is the new black and eating ice cream.
"Of course you do, well I'm glad you want to become a vampire and all but I got to go study for the Biology test"
"Isn't it on Monday?" Her voice sounded confused.
"Yea it is but i want to get it over and done with so my weekend can be peaceful." There was a moment of silence which kinda bothered me a bit.
"Hello?"
"Yea im still here I was just going to tell you that I was throwing a pool party this Saturday and I might have, not really, kinda did, didn't, maybe invited some juniors, sophomores and... Seniors" fxck!
"Shit, where the hell did you get time to invite so many people? I was with you  the whole days, how did I not see you or hear you tell anyone!" I was angry and sad and confused but mostly scared.
"Well you won't focusing most of the time and and I told the girls to tell people, well I didn't trust them so I made a list of people and I texted them the details just in case Jade messed up. " I don't know how to breathe.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Repeat.
"Cassy! Are you okay? I've been calling your name like five times! Breathe!"
Cough, "yea" cough "I'm okay, I've got to go...bye"
"Bye" I hung up and began to study.
10:32pm
'Gruuu' I hadn't realized that time passed by really quickly and I haven't gotten out of my room since then, no wonder my tummy is speaking to me. I went downstairs to make something to eat but before i did that I felt something weird around me. I should really stop watching horror movies, but the feeling was weird like peaceful. I went to the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge.

Hey baby
Sorry we forgot to tell you but your father and I have business meeting in New York so we will be back on Sunday, I went grocery shopping and I left you some money for the weekend. Oh and if you need anything else ask our neighbor for stuff.

No wonder it feels peaceful, I went to go make a chicken sandwich and a glass of orange juice then sat by the tv. I finished up and went to my room to take a bath and change into my fluffy cloud pajamas, as I was about to get in bed I heard someone ring the door bell. "Who on earth would ring the bell at 11:45!" I went down stairs to the door and opened it and met with a dark shade of green eyes. I just stood there and looked at the one person in the world I never thought would be at my front porch.
"What the hell are you doing at my house at 11:45!" He just stood there and a smirk appeared on his face. Is he drunk? He then walked passed me and turned around. So I just closed the door and looked at him like he grew an extra perfect nose. He then spoke.
"Are your parents home and nice house" what the fxck?
"No they out the whole weekend and thanks and for the second time why the hell are you in my house at 11:45" he then looked at his watch.
"Its 12 and could you stop talking for a minute." Is he being serious? He then went upstairs and walked in my room and started taking his shoes off then his pants then his t-shirt and I just looked at him dumbfounded, I honestly didn't know what to do but stare and his perfection but then I snapped back to reality. He walked near me and took my hand he switched off the light then got into my bed and pulled me into it as well, I have no idea what the heck is going on but my mouth was shut the whole time. So i got into bed with him on my side and he held my waist.
"Are you drunk?" I whispered
" just a little"
"So you came here just to come and sleep?" Im very confused
"Yea"
"You do know how crazy this is, it's school tomorrow and you here having a sleepover with me and what if my parents were home and found you in my room busy-"
"Hey clumsy."
"Yes?"
"Shut up"
"Okay" he then pulled me closer and I went to sleep, his skin was so warm that it made me sleep instantly.

I woke up to my alarm going off then I remembered what happened last night but my back was cold and my sheet was slightly walm so I turned to find an empty side of the bed. I woke up and went to take a shower and got dressed, finally it's friday after school I can relax. I texted Nina to come fetch me and she texted back the she would be here in 10 minutes so in the meantime I started thinking about what happened last night, I didn't realize how time flew by and I heard Nina hooting outside so I locked up the house and went in the car. I didn't want to tell Nina anything because I don't even know how to explain what happened, we just arrived at school and we went our separate ways. I needed to get my chemistry book in my locker and change my other books so I quickly took them and was about to head to Maths but I saw Bradley and his friends heading my direction. 'I can't walk pass him' He looked at me then and I met with his green eyes, they turned back into the light green ones that I liked. I quickly turned around and took the long way to Maths just to avoid him. The bell rang and i was about 3 minutes late.
"Miss Blake, you late" announced Mr Ford
"Sorry sir, it won't happen again" I went to my seat and got my books out and paid attention to the lesson, in the end he handed back our tests and as he got closer to me I did a silent prayer then he faced the paper at the back and I turned it over to see a big fat A+ on it. I just stared at the paper and looked over the name just to check if he didn't give me the smartest person in the class, which was Jessica Franson but when I looked at the name it said Cassandra Blake on it. Straight after class I was in a giddy mood, I went to my locker to put my books in there and swap some books for the day. After a few classes the bell rang for lunch and I forgot to pack lunch and bring money for food so there was no point on eating today, I headed to the cafeteria and saw the girls sitting so I walked over and sat down while the girls were telling Nina what happened while she was in hospital. The bell rang so I motioned myself to Chemistry then English then Spanish class, it was now lunch again so instead of going to the cafeteria I started walking around and stumbled across a room with a beautiful grand piano in the middle of the room so i went inside.
I looked at the music sheet and remembered me taking music classes in freshman year so it looked very familiar so I started playing the song, I didn't notice that after sometime I was playing one of my favorite songs which was Say something- a great big world. I was so engrossed with the music that I didn't even realize someone was in the room so when I was finished with song I stood up and turned around to leave but once again my green eyed monster was right in front of me.
"That was good" he was a step away from me then took a step forward and I took one back.
"I...thank you...sorry I was just about to be on my way" so I stepped aside and he did the same.
"I came here looking for you" he did? Why would he look for me? I need to be more confident around this guy, he can see im weak and I hate it when people see me weak.
"You found me so what do you want" there we go girl.
"Feisty there, well I came to give you this" there was a sandwich from the cafeteria in his hand and a water.
"Your blonde friend ran into me and said if I find you to give you this, she saw that you didn't eat and brought it" I think he's taking about Hannah, that's very sweet of her so I made a mental note to thank her.
"Oh okay is that all?"
"Well about yesterday I just wanted to say-
RING!
"I'll just tell you at Nina's Party, check you later Clumsy" then he left. Shit, I knew he was going to the party but I just thought my mind was just trying to tramatize me, guess it was right. I then ran to my next class and asked the teacher if I could eat in it as I didn't eat the whole day and she allowed it. The last bell of the day rang so I quickly packed up and waited for Hannah to come out and I pulled her aside.
"Hey Cass, what's up?"
"Umm...thanks for buying me lunch and all but out of all people for you to send you send the one im avoiding." She looked very confused which confused me.
"What the hell are you going on about? Are you on Meth?"
"No I am not on Meth, Bradley told me you got me food because you were worried that I didn't eat?" Now I'm totally confused.
"Dude, what's going on?" I explained everything to her from the day I met Bradley to the time in the music room.
"Fxck sakes Cassy, you're life is messed up"
"I know..."
"I didn't buy food for you, I don't have cash and nobody else left the table...so that's where you were at lunch we just thought you needed to catch up on work." Obviously I didn't.
"Well I have to go" I hugged her then left to the front by the parking lot.
'Shit, I forgot my parents are out of town so I need to call my neighbor'
I called her and she didn't pick up so I decided that I was going to walk.
I took my phone and earphones out and played music for the journey ahead of me. I got home after 3:00 and took a nap, when I woke up my tummy was grumbling so I went downstairs and made myself macaroni and cheese for dinner, I put the leftovers in the fridge and went to the lounge to watch Pretty little liars. I cleaned up and went to bed after a long ass week.
