"Okay, but sit down, this is gonna be one long night."

Flashback, 2006

"Mom, guess what happened today! Guess what I did!" I watched as Cassidy ran up behind our mom, excitement shining in her eyes.

"Oh, Caitlin, sweetie, I'm so proud of you! My precious little girl, getting so big and smart! I knew you were going to win the science fair! I love you so much!" Mom was full of pride and joy as she enveloped me in a hug, completely ignoring my twin sister.

"Thanks, Mom," I smiled bashfully.

"Mom, want to know what I did today?" Cassidy asked once again.

"Sweetie, stop trying to take all the attention away from your sister. Whatever it is, it can wait. Today is your sisters day to shine. I'm sick and tired of you always acting this way. Your never appreciate the things that your father and I do for you, you never congratulate your sister on any of her accomplishments, and your just extremely rude to everyone." Mom's mood did a quick 360 as she grew angry at Cassidy.

"I'm sorry, Mom." Cass was close to tears as she apologized.

"Sorry doesn't cut it." Mom was growling now, and 16 year old Cassidy was trembling. "Now go to your room, bitch." I screamed as Mom slapped my sister across the face. A red handprint was left on her right cheek.

"MOM! HOW COULD YOU!"

"Don't worry, sis." Cassidy's voice was venomous. "This isn't the first time this has happened. At least this time it was just a slap."

"Mom, is that true?"

"No, honey, no it's not. Your sister is a LIAR!"

"Oh yeah, sure mom. Let's just go on pretending that we're a normal, happy family. You know what, I'm done. I'm packing my bags and leaving. Up, up, and away. Bye, bye, Snow's."

Present

"Wow." Barry breathed out.

"Yeah. She's dangerous. She's broken, and she wants other people to feel her pain. She loved our parents, and they hurt her, and I don't think she understands love anymore. She doesn't know what it is. I hope you can come to your senses before she hurts you."

"Caitlin, I understand where you're coming from, but I don't know if I can do this."

"Just remember what I said."

"I've got to go, we have a date planned for tonight."

"Barry-"

"Bye Caitlin."

Cassidy's POV

I smile as I look into my mirror and examine my makeup and hair. I had done a smokey eye with bold red lipstick, and for my hair, I curled it and pinned it into a half-up half-down look. I had a date tonight. With a guy who just happened to be perfect. Barry Allen.

"Girl, you look gorgeous. Now stop daydreaming about your man, and go get dressed." I laughed at my crazy best friend, who was laying on my bed behind me, helping me get ready. "Damn, your not kidding around this time! What makes him so special?"

"I don't know, Lex, I really don't know. At first I was just using him, but something changed. He's different." Sighing and flopping onto the bed, I look back at the speedster.

"Well, unless you plan on showing up naked, which I'm sure Barry wouldn't mind at all, you should probably get changed." I groan as I roll up off my comfortable mattress. Heading into my walk-in closet, I looked around at all of my options. Being a model, I had a LOT of clothes, and yet somehow none of them seemed to work. Finally, my eyes settled on something that I was confident I could rock. Changing into it and slipping on my heels, I walked out and struck a pose.
