Chapter 2
Crap people kept on staring at me like I was a disgusting mold on a 3 yr old cheese that they can't take their eyes off. I survived my morning classes so right now I'm having lunch with Cara who kept on babbling non stop, but I have to admit this girl is interesting.
The door of the cafeteria suddenly opened and 4 sex-god like men went in.
on the far right was a guy with jet black hair and dark black eyes with piercing on both his ears, next to him was a dirty blond guy with 2 piercing on his left ear and a tattoo on his left wrist, the guy next him has a brown curly hair he doesn't have piercings nor tattoo's he looks like the good boy in the group, then the guy next to him has a dark brown hair and those familiar eyes I saw this morning, Then our eyes suddenly met, wow his eyes are the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen
"earth to Addie! are you still here?" Cara kept on snapping her fingers infront of my face
"huh? what?" I looked at her
"I have been calling your name for the last 5 minutes." she said popping fries in her mouth
"who are they?" I asked her pointing the 4 sex-gods
she looked at me shocked but leaned towards me and instructed me to lean too "the one with jet black hair is Sean, The hair with dirty blond is Mike, The other one with the Curly hair is Stephen, then last but not the least the one with dark brown hair is Danny. Rumor says they've all been jail together last month... well were not surprised they go to jail almost every month. Don't go near them they're Bad news" as if on cue the bell rang indicating us lunch is done so we stood up and went to our lockers. after getting our things I headed to my history class since Cara has Chem.
History was not that boring it was interesting. We did not have any lesson but Mrs. Garcia updated us about the calamity in the Philippines and what happened to the people who got hit by the typhoon Haiyan. She also showed us some video clips, It was very heartbreaking watching people die because of the monster typhoon, some lived but they died because of lack of medicines, water, and food. Although some countries sent the Philippines some relief goods and donated money it was just not that fast. Then Mrs. Garcia told us we're going to do a Help the Phil project and we're gonna do it by pair and she's gonna announce the pairs tomorrow, hopefully I get a good pair.
I walked to the girls locker room since my next subject is P.E. I changed my clothes into black spandex and black tank top then my black nike training shoes. I walked in the gym and saw two poles with a net, YES VOLLEYBALL!
The coach blew his whistle
"Gather around students! I'm Coach Brown and I will be your P.E teacher" He said loudly "and today we're going to play volleyball. Coach Sanders over there" he pointed to a middle aged girl sitting on the bleachers holding a clipboard "is the coach of the volleyball team and if she sees someone with the skill she's going to recruit you and put her on her team" Coach Brown added
We sat in the bleachers waiting for our turn. After waiting for how many minutes coach brown finally called us to go to our position and play. The game was just nothing to me since I have experience on playing this game and I love it! our team won and we celebrating by doing a group hug.
After everyone was done playing we went to the locker room and showered
and changed our clothes. After I'm done I went out of the room and headed my way out of the gym.
"Miss Summers!" Someone called me I turned around to see Coach Sanders approaching me
"yes?" I asked
"I would like you to be on the volleyball team this year. you will be a great addition to the team with your unique skills. So what do you say are you in?" she asked hopefully
"sure" she sighed in relief
"ok practice everyday after class until 5pm" she said then walked away.
I walked going to my locker to see Cara standing waiting for me.
"Oh your here! I heard you made it to the team" she said, wow news here runs so fast
"yeah" After I was done placing my books inside I sling my bag and closed my locker "let's go" I walked to where the parking lot was
"where you going?" Cara asked I didn't even noticed he wasn't following me
"parking lot.. why?" I asked her curiously
"oh... you have a car, I'm gonna ride the bus" She said and started walking away
"hey Cara! I'll drive you home!"
"really?" I nodded "thanks Addie!"
we walked to the parking lot together and walked to my car
"OHEHMGHEE!" Cara squealed
"what? what happen?" I asked worried at Cara's shocked face
"that's your car?" she asked looking at my car with adoration
"yeah... hop in now!" I said going in the driver seat and turned the engine on. and drove off
"hey wanna stop by at my house?" I asked her
"sure! I'd love to see your house" she said excitedly as she turned the radio on and played the most common song and annoying one direction's best song ever.
"why? why?" I groaned
"It's my jam!" she said singing along "Zayn is just perf" she squealed
"he's gay" I joked but in a serious tone
"no he's not!" she punched me in the arm hard good thing I can control
"hey don't punch a driver when she's driving woman!"
"you said he's gay, your mean!" she said crossing her arms pouting
"your so immature!" I laughed
after a long drive of torture we finally made it to my house I parked my car infront of our main door and threw the keys at my butler jack
"woah.. this is your house" Cara's jaw dropped as she looked at my house with awe.
"yeap!" I replied "come in!"
I toured her around the house until we got in to my room
"woah! This is the size of my room combined with our guest room and my parents room!" she said wide eyed. I just chuckled at her expression.
we lounged around in my room just a bit and decided we want to eat something and right now it's 11 pm so we're just going to seven eleven to grab some food. And oh yah! Cara's staying over night and she was so excited when her mom allowed her.
We arrived at seven eleven and saw a huge crowd surrounding something. hmm.. maybe a fight. we went out of my car and decided to see what the people were surrounding. And I was right it was a fight. There were 8 guys fighting with eachother, Then I realized the four guys looked familiar. I felt someone tug on the hem of my shirt. I look down to see a pair of big brown eyes who looked scared
"I'm scwared" The boy hugged me tight like his life depended on me
I crouched down so we were level "Are you here alone?" I asked him
"no I'm with my bwather" He said
"What's your name?" I asked him
"I'm Daniel and I'm 4" He said showing me his four fingers
What kind of brother would leave his 4 yr old brother alone.
"Hey Daniel do you want to come inside and eat?" I asked him
"but your a stwanger" he said pointing at me
"well I'm addie! so now I'm not a stranger" I stood up and held his tiny hands "Let's go I'll buy you some candy" He took my hands happily and started singing ABC
after buying a lot of junk we sat down on the hood of my car.
"you could be a good mom someday" Cara said
"shut up and eat" I chuckled
"DeeDee..." I looked down at daniel, He started calling me deedee since he can't really say my name and Its ok with me since he's 4
"yes daniel?"
"I think the fight is done" he said looking at the store and indeed the fight was gone
"He left me again" His shoulders slumped and started tearing up and it melted my heart and I will kill his brother if I find him.
"Maybe he bought something inside" I tried to comfort him but he was already crying
"maybe" Then I hugged him
"DANIEL!" someone shouted
"DANIEL!" Daniel stood up and ran to the voice.
I followed him and saw 4 guys the other 1 was hugging daniel so I assume that was his brother. when I got closer It was the 4 guys from the fight and the guys from our school.
"hey addie you left me!" Cara ran to me then shut "Oh" she said with an O shaped mouth
"hello ladies..." Danny said walking towards us smirking. I rolled my eyes at him
"wow.. your the most irresponsible brother ever! how can you leave your 4 yr old brother by his own? what if he gets kidnapped?" I yelled at him
he moved towards me and looked at me with an evil glint in his eyes "Don't talk like you know me, because you don't babe"
"Danny! leave my gewrlfwend alone!" Daniel stomped his feet angrily Danny looked at him amused
"She's your girlfriend?" he asked going with the flow
"yes! so no no hurt mwy gewrlfwend!"
"Didn't know you go for young boys" Danny said trying to hold his laughter "see you around Addie" I looked shocked staring at Daniel's retreating figure. then I felt a tug on my shirt
"can I hwave a kwiss?" Daniel asked cutely so I bent down and give him a kiss on the cheek.
"DANIEL COME ON!" Danny shouted from a far
wow... this was an interesting night...
