I woke up grumpy on a Christmas morning because of the stupid bird on my window waking me up. I stood up and went out to my balcony to breath in some fresh air maybe that would calm me. When I looked out I saw my granny and Dominick chatting while my granny drinks her Tea and Dominick drinks his lemonade when they saw me my granny waved at me to come and join them, I held my finger to signal them to give me a minute to take a shower and change.
I went in my shower and did my usual morning routine. Then I chose my outfit for today which is pretty simple white v-neck shirt, ripped skinny jeans, red keds, and to finish my outfit I threw a gray scarf around my neck. After changing I put on some mascara to make my eyes pop and lip balm to moisturize my lips and then I headed out to our backyard.
"hey guys!" I kissed my granny's cheek and hugged Dominick
"Good morning sweety" My grandmother smiled at me
"where's grandpopps?" I asked
"oh, he's working out. He said he needs to fit in with your generation." I scrunched my face imagining my Grandpopps with wrinkled abs and soggy moobs. And it was not a pretty sight.
"Don't you think I also need to workout? I just bought a two piece neon green bathing suit from Victoria secret. And I would want to wear it this summer when your grandpa and I go to Hawaii" And then my mind imagined my grandmother again posing with her bathing suit on and it was worst than my granpopps soggy moobs.
"yeah.." I said awkwardly I glanced at Dominick who was holding his laughter and I shoot him a deathly glare. Then his phone rings and he stood up and excuse his self. My grandmother turned to me and said
"So who's team are we?" she asked eagerly
"what?" I asked confused by her question
"Is it Team Doms? or team Dexter?" I was dumbfounded on what she said.
"Granny It's Danny not Dexter.." I corrected her
"he looks like a Dexter to me." she said innocently "so who is it? hmm?" she asked teasingly
"no one granny no one." the look that she gave me told me that she did not believe what I said
"Yeah.. Sure.." she mocked me and I just rolled my eyes at her behaviour
"you know" she started " Dominick is a good boy. respectful, he won't cheat on you, won't put you on danger, good looking, not flabby, funny and sweet. I wouldn't mind if you dated him and besides his family and our family are close so that's a plus. And Here comes Danny well built with muscles and I'm sure with abs, mysterious, look like an abercrombie model, dangerous, cheat on you type for short when you look at him his aura screams BAD BOY!' My grandmother rubbed her chin "but Badboys are fun and they're adventurous and exciting. GAHH.. I don't know go ask your aunt about that, why are you asking me ? I don't know anything about that kind of situation" she finished her tea and stood up and walked away muttering about teenagers now a days couldn't have only one person to love. And I sat there shocked.
Dominick's P.O.V
I was walking around the house when I saw Addi'es Grandmother sitting on the backyard sipping tea. So I headed to the kitchen to get some lemonade and joined her in the backyard.
"Good Morning Granny" I greeted her
"Good Morning boy how was your sleep?" she asked
"good" I answered. then we heard a door open and saw Addie in her balcony stretching when she saw us granny waved at her and signaled her to join us. and she held her hand to signal us to wait. Then Granny turned to me
"your Inlove with her" she said I looked at her shocked but quickly masked it with a disgusted expression.
"what? her? no.. ewww" i said quickly she just laughed at my reaction and shook her head.
"I can see it boy. your inlove with her. But you don't have the courage to tell her, your scared that your friendship will be over. I know you liked her since but you dated another girl and broke her heart so that her feelings for you will be gone" how did she know. I nodded my head shyly
"But now that I want to confess to her she found another. It's too lat" I muttered
"Love can never be too late boy. If you have faith in yourself that you still have the chance it will never be too late. Fight for what you think is rightfully yours." I nodded my head then we hear Addie
"hey guys!" she kissed granny and hugged me. I hugged her back not wanting to let her go but I know I have to. she asked where grandpopps was then granny started her story on how she and gandpopps wants to get fit. I really did not pay attention. I was too busy staring at her face scrunching with disgust about how grandpopps wants abs and granny wants to wear her new bathing suit. she looks so cute her nose was scrunched I wanted to laugh at her cute expression but I was biting my laughter back. Then she glanced at me and send me a glare. Then My phone suddenly ring I excused myself and answer the caller.
"hello?" i answered without looking at the caller
"Dominick? is this you?" a squeaky voice said and I know who exactly that voice belongs to.
Addie's P.O.V
After collecting my shocked self I got a text from an unknown number telling me he's Danny and he wants to meet me at at a cafe store downtown at 2PM because he wants to tell me something. I got a funny feeling about this but at the same time my beated loudly like I was about to have a heart attack. what does he want to tell me.
I looked at the time it was already 11 so I still have time to kill. I grabbed my Laptop and went to YouTube to watch my favorite childhood show that's so raven if you haven't seen it then you didn't have a fun childhood(kidding). I finished 8 episodes of that's so raven and had lunch with my Grandparent and Aunt but Dominick was MIA and no one knew where he went, so I got worried but my maid told me that he went out to do something important.
"Addie are you going to the office today?" My Aunt asked while eating her salad
"Yeah.. I'll be going there after I have lunch. But I have to go by 2PM because i'm gonna meet with a.. friend" I glanced at my grandmother who was smiling at me knowingly I gave her a shy smile in.
"okay.. Don't be home late" My Aunt said
after we had lunch I went to my room and changed into a pink pastel Peplum dress that comes with a beige color bow belt, and wore my beige wedges. I brought out my duffel bag and place clothes and my black converse on so that I won't look too formal in meeting with danny later. When I remember the text he gave me that he wants to meet me today my heart skips a beat. I'm soo on to him! I texted Cara about meeting up with Danny today she got excited and told me to tell her everything when I get back home.
I drove to the company without my bodyguards and driver because I gave them Christmas vacation and only our maid was left because she said she was fine and she wanted to work to save up more. When I walked in the company everyone greeted me with a big smile on their faces. I walked in to my office and saw my secretary have placed everything I need and all the papers I have to sign. So I jumped on my work and did all of it. When it was already 1:30. I changed in my private bathroom and did my make up again. I instructed my secretary and went off to the cafe.
Danny texted me again and told me to wait by the lamp post near the cafe, I got curious why he wanted me there but I still did. after waiting for five minutes a woman came to me and told that she was selling perfumes and If I want to smell some of her perfumes and maybe buy one.
"here smell this one, this is our limited edition perfume, It's called Goodnight" she smiled at me evilly and I got scared but smelled the perfume. After smelling the perfume I got dizzy and my eyes were dropping. I heard the woman laugh
"Goodnight.. Adrienne" Then before my eyes closed I saw 3 huge men carry me and then it was all pitch black.
