Chapter 3: Another problem?? one after the other

Third Person PoV

[Still at the hospital]

Both Luke and Benelyn tried asking her one time about how she got her trauma but her expression was scary so they didn't want to attempt to bring the issue up again. Shan is sleeping, Benelyn ordered her to sleep. Luke is left with her because Benelyn needed to do some things.

"hmmm.." Shan moaned.

Luke moved closer to Shan's face. He remove some lock of hair covering her face.

" Her black hair, pointy nose, pinkish cheeks, then kissable lips. "He touched then one by one and when he stopped at her mouth.

His feelings took the better of him and he almost stole a kiss, but he stopped when he noticed tears flowing out of her eyes.

"This is so weird, seeing you cry like this." He sweep her tears rolling on her cheeks.

*Knock, Knock*

Luke didn't answer he probably  thought it was just Benelyn signalling him that she's entering. It took almost a minute for the person to enter.

"Is this Misaki's room?" A guy spoke.

"Yes, How can I help you?" He didn't answer immediately because the guy's face wasn't familiar. 

"I'm here to visit my fiance." The guy said.

FIANCE!!?? First time I'm hearing this.

"Uhmm can I ask you someting?" Luke spoke calmly.

"Yeah sure. What is it?" He answered while placing the flowers he brought on an empty vase at the table of the living room.

"How did you became her fiance?"

"Hmm. Practically it's an arrange marriage but that's what they think I actually wanted this marriage. I'm Martin Kei Marquez, her childhood friend." Martin introduced himself.

"In other words you like her?"

"Yeah, the girl destined for me."

"And I think half of the problem is my fault." He added.

"What problem?"

"Ain't she tomboyish?"

"Yes why?"

"Half of it is because of me."

"What!? How?"

"I was her best friend when we were kids, I was popular at school. Even though were still kids, I had a lot of girls wanting to be with me. "

"And?"

"Misaki was super close to me, she was a sweet girl,simple,kind,caring and mostly pure not like the other slut's. There were tons of barbarian that time. She was bullied."

"Ahh, exactly how did she became tomboyish??"

"She confessed her love to me at our  graduation." Luke's face was clearly shocked.

Martin Kei's PoV

#Flashback

Today's our grade school graduation, we're gonna be 1st year students next year.

"Martin can we talk, in private." Misa pulled my sleeves.

"Of course." I answered.

I followed her and she brought me to our usuall hang out spot, at the back of the school there's this little house we discovered and we renovated it as our own. Memories, I'm gonna miss this.

"So what do you need to say in private?" I chuckled. Misa has always been shy with others.

"Ahh... ma-martin uhmm.. this is.... uhmm." she breath deeply.

"I have always liked you." She spoke in one breath.

Wha!!?? Seriously? She likes me. Then I remembered those girls that would likely bully her. I don't want her to get hurt.

"Can you handle the bashing and physical attacks?" I asked.

"Of course." Her face showed determination.

I don't want her to get hurt. I know I can protect her from those girls but I can't protect her from myself.

Yes I love you Misa but I'm already engaged. A daughter of a conglomerate family. I don't want you to know this because you'll get sad. I can't refuse my dad's favor because our family business is on the line.

Even though he doesn't want to arrange this marriage he has no choice this business is the only thing he has left. Even though he also felt the pain of marrying someone he doesn't like. My dad didn't really love my mom. My dad's true love is someone else. Similar to what is happening to me now my dad also went through this hardsip.

My dad learned to love my mom and I wad born on that love. How come I know this?

Even though my dad's a guy he was keeping a diary. That diary of my dad had full of sorrow and sadness with tha fact that he didn't get to marry the one he loves.

I agree with dad's favor. And I also need to leave the country my fiance's dad wants me to study at the states. I don't want her to know this weak side of me.

"Sorry Misa but, I don't like you. I like you as a friend but not more than that." I said. Lies.

"Ahh! I knew it..*smile* I wish you can find the girl destined for you. * a tear droped* Ahhh something got caught in my eyes."She wiped her tears.

Sorry Misa, I truly am. I just don't want to hurt you.

"Sorry.." Don't cry.

While I'm studying in states I was updated on what's happening to Misa from a secret reliable source. She transfered to Ouran School. This is a good school. She changed? she wasn't the girly type anymore she became tomboyish.

I regreted my decision it was a wrong choice that an immature me took. I should've fought for Misa. I need to be quick. I just need to make our company independent so we don't need my father's sister company. After three years my plan came true and I won't get married but the best of all I could see her again.

Now I'm gonna take Misa. Take care of her, cherish her, love her, and Don't leave her EVER again. I'm gonna tell her how much I love her and when the right time has come i'm gonna ask her hand for marriage.
