Failed

Splinter was getting worse by the day. Donnie had tried and tried to get him better but it wasn't working. Donnie was in his room,angry at himself. "Rrrrrrrrrr." He held his head and growled. Someone knocked on his door. "Come in..." Raph walked in and saw him. "Hey don. You ok?" He asked. "WHY DO YOU CARE?!" Donnie snapped and turned around facing him. "Wow calm down Donnie. I'm worried about you. Since now I'm leader and the oldest I have to watch you and Mikey." Donnie relaxed and shook his head. "Sorry... I'm just angry. What if I fail?" Ask Donnie. Raph didn't answer. He just looked at him and gave a small smile. "You won't." Mikey came running in. "Donnie! Raph!" They both stood up and looked at him. "What is it?" Raph asked. "It's sensei! He's coughing up blood!" They raced out to Donnie's lab to spilnter.

DONNIES POV

No,no,no!! If he dies it's all my fault! We saw him and I was horrified. Mikey was right... I rushed to him and cleaned most if it up and started to try and help him breath. "Sensei keep your eyes open. Don't fall asleep. Just hang on!" I said. I began to panic and saw he had problems breathing. "Raph! Get you and Mikey out!" I commanded. I heard Mikey try to hit Raph but he got picked up and they left me.

I put a mask over his mouth so he could breath. "My....son...." He said. Hie voice was so soft and weak I almost didn't hear it. I looked at him worried. He began to cough harder and winced in pain. "Sensei just stay awake. It's gonna be ok... You'll make it." I said with small tears. I started to frantically look at the medicine trying to find something to help him. "No my son.... It's my time...." I looked at him. His eyes were almost shut. Mikey busted in with Raph behind him. "No! Please just hang on father!" He shook his head but had a weak smile. We all stopped and walked to him. We looked down at him as he looked at us. "My sons. I love you. You must protect the city and care for each other." Raph grasped one Of his hands. "Please father,don't leave... We need you." I took the other hand and Mikey also grabbed the hand I had. Splinter still had the smile but he closed his eyes and his breath was gone.

REGULAR POV

Mikey had tears flowing and he cried into splinters hand as Donnie just stared at him. He had a look of guilt, sadness, anger, and horror on his face. Raph had small tears and was also scared. "NO!! SENSEI!! Please wake up! Please!" He begged. He lightly shook him. Donnie grabbed Raph and pulled him off. "LET ME GO!! NO!! WAKE UP! HE CANT DIE!" Raph scarred as Donnie put him in his room. He had to lock the door and he heard Raph banging on the door and breaking things. Dionne went back to Mikey and hugged his little brother. They both cried and held each other.

A few hours later Donnie went to Raph's room and saw Raph crying. His room was destroyed, he was also bleeding. Donnie looked and saw Raph's hands were bleeding. He saw the walls had many holes. 'He must have broken his hands.' Donnie thought. He helped Raph up and took him to the main room and wrapped his hands up. Donnie picked up his tee-phone and called Leo.
