"Young girl, y/n y/l/n, hasn't been seen since the dance at her high school night. This young girl has (your hair colour), (eye colour) and is about (your height). Her parents are looking everywhere for her, they suspect she has ran away from home. All her friends, family members, and kids from her school are STILL looking for her after only searching for two days. Spring break has ended, and this is not looking good. Here is y/n's best friend on this perspective;

"Hi. Uhm well, I haven't see y/n since that night, she texted me saying she was going to go meet up with Thomas behind the school and would come to my house right after. She went to the dance with a guy in my school named Kayden, he's pretty known in our school. Three weeks ago I spotted him handling drugs with this stranger whom looked at least twenty-five, sometimes he doesn't look like he's in grade twelve. It's like... He should be out of school already. You know? Like he's a bit too old for school.."

"We won't stop looking for her until we do, has Kayden or Thomas been at school yet?"

"No, none. And it's already four days back in school. Thomas' mom is unsure where he is, same as all of his friends. They all have no clue. I'm not sure about Kayden, I know nothing well about him."

"You sir, you're Kaydens close friend, right? You guys sit at lunch together a lot, huh?"

Kaydens close friend;

"Yes."

"You're not too open about it, what's Kaydens family life like? Does he have other friends?"

"...it's good. His mother is quite nice, her dark black hair and light blue eyes. And his dad is very-very tall. He doesn't have any siblings. And yes, I think he does have other friends."

"Are you telling the absolute truth? Because to me with rubbing your arm and biting your lip anxiously does tell me something is up. Please, for y/n's own safety, tell us."

"Turn the camera off then,"

The reporter gives them a signal and they do as he says.

"I'm, Ruth. The reporter, I'm really deep into this and I've known y/n since she was five." I say and he glares off in a distance behind me. "Tell me what you know, all the cameras are completely off."

"Ok, well. When I walk with Kayden down the hallways, or at lunch he always tends to stare at y/n. I've asked if he was into her and he doesn't say anything. He does have a little sister, she's thirteen I think."

"Okay, could you tell me about any nasty behaviour about Kayden?"

"Well y/n said her feelings about Thomas, and he kinda just at that exact moment got angry and threw something, I can't remember. He does do drugs, he just doesn't want to admit to anyone, not even himself. And.. Well he isn't who he says he is.."

"What do you mean? Is his identity fake?" I asked curiously. I wrote every word down, not trying to miss anything.

"His name isn't Kayden, he graduated a little over a year ago, his real name is Shawn."

I gasped slightly to myself and he seen.

"Shawn? Could you give a last name?"

"No, he never trusted me enough. All I know is that he has something for y/n, something strong."

"Address." I infirmly said to him.

"Sorry?"

"Where does he live?"

"John White avenue, b12, I followed him home once. Wondering what he was always up to since he never opened up right, if this was out in public- him and his people would kill me,"

"What, what people?"

"As much as I loved to say more, I cannot."

"What can you tell me about Thomas Bask?"

"He's a polite guy, he really is. Good looking, wealthy guy. Everyone was crazy about him, his heart was only set on y/n though, every girl was devastated. Even the guys, he put all his time on her."

"Alright, I think we'll call this a day. Thank you, I'll call you for any further information,"

"All this won't be going out, right? Even me talking, I want it cut out."

"Sure," my eyes wondered over the information, I was lying, most of it was on air. It's not like Kayden will do much. He left the room still looking at everyone around him. Nice kid.

11:23 pm

I finally got home after all this day of work.

I gave a call to the officer. "Officer, I've got very gladly news. I'm positive we can find the missing girl. I left it in my office, everything. It's just in the second drawer. Now his address is John White Ave b12. Send cops there this instant! That poor girl has been held hostage there for two weeks,"

"How do you know?"

"Kaydens friend. But stay armed, they have weapons, they've killed people."

"Kayden?"

"Yes, yes! That's the boy who took her, and may have kidnapped Thomas as well, oh, also. His real name is Shawn, last name is unknown."

"..Shawn Mendes." He muttered under his breath like he knew.

"What, you know?"

"No, no. I don't, just an assumption. I'll send help there right now, don't worry." He coughed then hanged up.

"Hello? Hello?" The line went dead.

I walked to my kitchen, making some coffee. I heard a noise come from my bedroom.

"Kyle? Are you home already? How did school go?"

The noise muffled, suddenly not thinking it was my son anymore. An intruder. I held a knife that I took from the sink, and headed to my bedroom, exploring my apartment.

I then seen my cat, just sitting on my window, it jumped on my bed. Making me sigh in relief.

I dropped the knife on my dresser. Then I felt hands wrapped around my waist and duck tape stalled onto my lips. I tried to shook myself away from this grip against me, I tried screaming but it was no use.

"You got a nice accent, but sadly, that doesn't work for me mate." I heard a deep voice say. "Maybe you shouldn't have got into any business,"

I then felt a pistol against my temple, I didn't tear up, no. I won't be like all the other people, I won't cry. The corner of my eye, his finger pressed against the trigger. "Last one.." He promised to himself. I wish I could see who he was.

The pistol shot.

If you're confused here.

This was all in the point of view of a young reporter named, Ruth. Ruth was desperately wanting to find out who took you, and what happened to Thomas.
So she also called in, Kaydens best friend and your best friend for help.
(Kinda spoiler alert here, down below***)
It was at first airing live to around the world, but shut off when Kaydens friend was talking, and when his friend was talking "turn off the cameras then" that's how Kayden and his buds all found out. They knew he was going to tell.
