Chapter 1 Alone

Hi I'm Y/N and I'm a half human gem. My gem is aquamarine so my friends and family call me aqua, and only them no one else! My mom was a home world gem that was in love with a human man... she was on a mission for home world and had to come to earth and they hit it off. After years of cutting of home world she was pregnant with me and when I was born she became part of me. My dad was sad but still happy I was in his life. That is until he was.... I can't talk about right now it's to sad, but I'm all alone and I'm only 14!!!! (So you and Steven are the same age) So I also have a letter my mom wrote me before I was born. Here I'll read it to you.
Dear aqua,
My beautiful daughter. I know your confused about a lot but I LOVE YOU!!! and don't be afraid your father will take care of you. I will always be with you no madder what we end up in. When I first came to Earth I was here to end the crystal gems and earth, but I realized that Earth I so beautiful and should be kept safe. So when you read this I want you to find the crystal gems. They are the ones who can help you with your powers, I heard that they live in a beautiful temple in a town called Beach City! Ask them and have them read this and ask for there help for me! Ever time you love being yourself that Is me love you for you!!! So don't be afraid and be my confident beautiful Y/N. I love you my.... Aqua.

I teared up at the end... I wish I could see her. So I'm on a bus on the way to this Beach City place but, how will I find the crystal gems? Hmm...... Let's just say that it would be easier if I knew who I was looking for- Beach City!!!!!!!! Ow!!!! ges this bus driver could at least brake softy! I got of the floor and grabbed my bag and walked to the front of the bus. "Thank you sir" I said as I walked by him "Just doin my job! Be careful out there you hear!" Larry as his name tag on his shirt said. I nodded and waved good bye and walked of the old dusty bus. I looked around and saw a small town down a ways. I look at the sign to my left Welcome to Beach City. I was nervous and scared but I continued walking.. It was a really nice day to be honest, nice breeze and smelled like ocean water. I finally made it down to the town it was small but had a friendly feel to it. I kept walking past little stores look for a old temple thingy like my mom said. I saw a arcade and giggled maybe I could play some games later if it doesn't turn out okay. I was walking by a car wash and heard someone talking "Aw man come on!" I walked back a little and turned my head and saw a man that was bald on top but with long hair,a white tank top, gray shorts, and flip flops. He had scaderred car brushes all over the ground. I walked over to him "Do you some help sir?" I ask the strange man "Yes please thank you" the man said as we both bent over and picked them up. I stood up and he did to "You have no idea how hard it is to hold all these car brushes"
"I can tell there are a lot! Don't you have anyone to help you?" I asked curiously
"Usually my son helps me but he was busy"
"Oh I see.... my name is Y/N by the way"
"I'm Greg! Well Y/N! Will you help me one more time?"
"Sure!"
He started walking to a van so I followed him. He set down the brushes and opened the back of the van and picked up his brushes and set them in the van. I repeated the same, then smiled at him.
"So Y/N?.... We're are your parents?"
My smile at Greg grew into a frown.
"I don't have my parents anymore" I said looking down.
"I am so sorry.... I shouldn't have said that!"
"No! It's okay it's not your fault, you just... didn't know" I said sadly "You don't know any people by the crystal gems do you?" I ask Greg. He looked at me with wide eyes
"Yeah! Why? If you don't mind telling." He said I explain every thing to him and he understands wich was a surprise to me.
"So your all alone!!!"
"Yup!..... so can you take me to them?"
"Sure! Get in!" He motioned me to get in the Van. I sit on the passenger seat and buckle up. What?! A girl has to be safe when in a car! (Quick note: Please don't try and be cool buckle up when your on the road!!!)
"Let's roll"
