Chapter 3 Meeting Connie

Your POV
Steven was pulling me by a bunch of little shops and such until we reached a neighborhood. I was quite nice to be honest, and the neighbors seemed super nice! As we kept moving I kept having a weird feeling. Oh well I'll just ignore it.

"Were here!" Steven said excitedly. We were at a very nice house that was by other nice houses that look all the same but in different color. Steven knocked on the door and almost instantly the door opened. "Steven!" A girl shouted and gave Steven a hug. She had brown skin and black hair, she was really pretty to be honest. "Hey Connie! I brought someone here to meet you!" Steven smiled at Connie and pointed to me. "Connie this is Y/N! She a half human gem just like me! Isn't that amazing!" Steven yelled with excitement, i blushed a little from how cute he acted... I mean from how silly he acted... Yeah.... "Wow that is really incredible!" She turned and smiled to me. "Well, its a pleasure to meet you Connie!" I smiled and stuck out my hand to shake. "The pleasure is all mine!" she smiled back and shook my hand. "Hey Connie? Y/N? Do you guys want to go to the Arcade and play some games? My treat!" Steven gave is beautiful smile and turned to the both of us. "Yeah!" we both shouted at the same time and giggled from doing so. "Alright let's go!" Steven started leading the way to the Arcade. "So.. Was your mom a gem?" Connie asked me. "Yeah she was... But shes gone now so i could be here." I said kind if sad. "Oh I'm sorry to hear that... What about your father?" she asked me "He's gone too.." I started to tear up but Connie suddenly hugged me. "I'm so sorry! I've should have known" she said comforting me. "It's okay its not your fault Connie" I say to her wiping a tear of my cheek. She smiles and lets go of me and turns to a crying Steven? "Y/N that's so sad!!!" He says and hugs me too. "Steven it's okay! I'll be okay" i say hugging him back. "Okay but tell us if you need to talk about anything!" He says letting me go "I will thanks guys" i smile at the both of them and we continued our way to the Arcade. Wow Connie seems like such a great friend to me already! I can't wait to see how our friendships will grow!
Connie's POV
Y/N seems like such a nice person! She's so kind and nice and really pretty! But i felt kind of jealous when she hugged Steven.... I will not let jealousy get in the way of what could be a great friendship!! So i better just play it cool for now.
Stevens POV
Wow Y/N and Connie seem to get along real nicely! I hope that they become really good friends! And when i hugged Y/N i couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach... Is that normal? Oh well i better just not say anything about that... Maybe ill talk to dad later. Yeah that sound like an awesome plan.
