Chapter 2 A meeting with destiny

Greg didn't drive to far because just in a matter of seconds we mad it to the temple were the gems must live. I get out of Greg's van and shut the door, "Wow! This place is huge!!" I said in excitement. Greg chuckled quietly "Yeah it really is if you really look at it." The temple was big and had a beautiful woman on it. It was, magnificent. "Come on I'll introduce you to the gems and Steven!" I nodded in agreement but, who is Steven? Is he also a crystal gem? I shook thoughts away and continued to follow Greg in to the temple. Let me tell you it was a really steep climb but we made it up to the door. They must really get into the present if they have a house I thought to myself. Greg and I entered the door though it was pretty update there was still some gem looking stuff. "Steven!!!" Greg called out, "Coming!!" I heard a voice call out I stood there confused but just did what I was supposed to do. I looked up and saw a very cute looking boy, he had black hair that was kind of curly and a red t-shirt with a yellow star in the middle of it. I blushed because he cought me starring to long.  "Who's that Dad?" said what I guessing was was Steven. " that's (Y/N) she is here to see all the others" Greg stated I looked at Steven and smiled at him "It's true" I commented Steven also smiled back at me. " So.... what do you need help with? Is there a bad guy from space?!" Steven asked concerned " no not at all. Actually I'm here because I am I'm a gem, well half-human gem" I said to Steven. He smiled very excitingly he looked surprised even. "Really!! Me to!"  My mouth dropped. I can't believe he is just like me!!! We smiled like a couple of goofballs and high-fived each other. "Halfie power!!!" We yelled in unison, we both giggled. His giggle was super cute- For a guy! Yeah that's what I meant hahahaha. "Well the gems aren't supposed to back in a while. Hey (Y/N) do you want to hang out with me and my friend Connie? You don't have to if you don't want to." Steven asked "Sure! I would really like that." I say following Steven and Greg you the door. "I'll catch up with you kid-os later" Greg said waving us good bye. We waved back and looked at each other after he left, "Shall we?" Steven asked putting his hand out. I blushed slightly and put my hand on his "We shall good sir" I said in a English accent. We both laughed, this could be a start of a wonderful friendship.
