Chapter 1

Sa'Niila Pov  

I can't believe I'm actually starting college after 4 years of self healing , I'm nervous honestly I feel like I'm gone just mess up with everything. I never been on my own, I've always had my brothers with me every step of the way.

"I'm grown bitches!" I yelled as I stepped foot inside my dorm with my best friend Nia behind me.  

She laughed " Calm down hoe , you been grown you just always got your fine brothers everywhere you go"

I flopped on my bed , Nia has always had the biggest crush on my brothers since we were in high school I don't know why because they're dogs I feel bad for any girl that is in a relationship with them. "Shut up , they don't want you. And I've always been independent since day one. Don't do me" I said kicking off my shoes.

Nia came and flopped on the other side of the bed next to me. " looking at them just make me we-"

" Oh hell naw , we ain't about to sit here and talk about what my brothers do to you and yo laffey taffey"

She was hunched over cracking up " I'm playing" she said trying to catch her breath  

" no you wasn't, you nasty black monkey"

I got up out of the bed and got picked up my ringing phone off the charger " hello?" I said to the unknown number "what you wearing?" the voice asked , I hesitated to answer trying to figure out who was on the line. "King! I know this ain't your black ass playing on my phone! I yelled putting it on speaker so Nia could hear. She smiled hard and I shook my head. King was still on the other line laughing " baby sis , come feed me" he whined once he got his self together.

" no." I stated " I'm not your maid , call one of them hoes you be sucking and ducking"  

He gasped " Ooh, NyNy watch how you be talking to me that mouth of yours a get you fucked up ion care if you think you grown"

I was laughing low enough where he couldn't hear me " you ain't gone do nothing though" Nia yelled pretending to be me. I shot her a look. "What you say?"

I hung up before he started yelling and put my shoes on " come on before he come and try to whoop our asses for real" I rushed grabbing my purse and jogging out the room and into my car.

" I'm ready to turn up go get Aalia so we can go to this party" Nila said putting on her seat belt, we arrived outside of her sister apartment and she was waiting outside with her boyfriend Melvin. He was tall, dark and handsome and them arms lord knows he be grinding on that football field. And Aalia was beauty on legs just like Nia, they was twins but totally different Nia had long curly hair and aalia had a short bob but they both some short little things barely 5 feet.

"who's party is this?" Aalia asked me as we pulled up to the packed house people inside and outside drinking and dancing.  

I shrugged " I don't know , I think its some guy named Dj but I ain't sure I said looking at Nia for conformation but she had somehow managed to escape as always.  

"yeah that's its my nigga Dj , party he have all the livest party's every year" Melvin said once I was done scanning the room for Nia.

"Lets go dance" Lia said to Melvin as they left me. Great I thought leave me here to be kidnapped by some creeper. I manage to push those thoughts behind me and dance by myself I nodded my head to the beat of body party by Ciara and watched everyone partying and laughing.

I was in my zone leaned against the doorway when I seen this fine and when I say fine I mean goddess walking in my direction I tried not to stair but the way his muscles was set up in that shirt it was like my eyes were attached to him. His hair was curly and black and he looked at me and smiled. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. He got closer and I pretended I didn't notice him.

"Hey" he said walking over to me and smiling that breath taking smile for some reason I couldn't help just stare its like i was lost for words. " hey" I finally said once I came out of my trance.

" I'm Dj" he held out his hand " Sa'Niila" i shook his hand  

" are you enjoying my party?"  

" yes I can't complain" i smiled . There was a second of silence then ' It won't stop' by Sevyn Streeter came on " i love this song" i blurted out loud. He chuckled "dance with me" he whispered in my ear sending shivers up and down my spine . I shook my head because at that moment he left me speechless...

He grabbed my hand and led me to the center of the room , I got butterflies in my stomach and I turned around where my back was towards him and slowly started dancing on him. Before I knew it I was twerking on him and everybody was watching us..the song stopped and I turned to face him covering my face.

"what you hiding for?" Dj asked taking my hands off my face , I looked at him "because all them people was looking at me" he laughed. "maybe because you dance better than all them."  

I smiled.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and put his face in my neck. My heart literally exploded into a million pieces I bet he could feel it beating. " Can I help you not be so nervous?" he asked picking his head up and looking me in my eyes.

"how you gone do that?"

He whispered "like this" then lifted my chin with his hand and kissed me, and it wasn't those 'oh I'm bout to hit it and quit it kisses' it was one of those kisses it has so much meaning behind it and I just met this guy.

Deion pulled away and smiled "Well damn , you got some soft lips"  

I bust out laughing. "I've been told" he grabbed my hand and led me outside.

We talked and laughed and had a great time he was so funny and smart , I couldn't believe that this was real I felt like pinching my self to check but that would've been wierd. He held my hand while I sat in between his legs on the porch steps.

Then I hear yelling . Oh hell where the twins at ? I thought...
