Chapter 28

"Hey ma!" I said excitedly into the phone as I drove back to the condo . "Hey babe , I miss you. " she said smiling through the phone . I unlocked the door and put the keys on the table .

"How you been? "

She sighed "Good , I can't complain. I have some news to tell you."

I sat down "Okay but If its bad I don't want to hear it . "

"You have a sister . " She said quickly getting right to the point. I stood up "Come again?"

"She's 5 , I didn't know how to tell you." She said trying to defend herself for lying to me for 5 years , who in the hell is the dad?

"Dammit ma ! " I yelled throwing a picture of us off the wall . "Deion calm down there's more ." She took a deep breath .

"I need her to come stay with you and Sa'Niila for a week just until I get my new yatch. "

I shook my head this is unbelievable "Ma , what in the hell." I said slowly . I rested my face on my hand . "You kidding right?"

"No please this will be a way to get to know eachother ."

I didn't feel like telling my mom about me and Sa'Niila, so I agreed "Where do we need to pick her up at ?" I asked

She gave me the time and airport then we hung up , I threw my phone on the bed . I can't believe I have a sister who I never knew about . Hell how didn't I know my mom was pregnant five years ago? only lord knows the answers.

Sa'Niila was on her way over because she agreed we would have dinner with her dad. I put my clothes out of the suitcase and threw them on before she came. I brushed my hair and sprayed cologne on . I heard a knock on the door and went to answer it .

"Come in." I said moving out the way so she could enter . "Why haven't I ever seen this place ?" she asked looking around . I hesitated to answer , then she looked at me . "I built this place as a back up , it was a just in case house I never thought I would have to use it . " I said quietly .

Her face saddened . "Im sorry." She mumbled, I nodded .

"So tell me why my mom just called me talking out her ass." I said making her laugh .

"What did she say "

I shook my head "I have a 5 year old sister."

Sa'Niila's eyes widened "Stop bullshitting."

I put my hands up . "I kid you not . She wants us to watch her for a week."

"This is a lot to handle , you for real DJ ?"

"Dead ass."

"Well damn, lets go get your little sister then" She said walking towards the door , she stopped making me bump into her "How you didn't know your mom was pregnant? she raised her eyebrow.

I chuckled and shrugged my shoulder , "I couldn't tell you."

I opened the car door for her and closed it going to my side and driving off . "What if she hates me , who is her dad anyways?" I asked breaking the silence .

Sa'Niila smiled. "Your nervous, that's all . She'll love you I promise. "

This is why I love this girl, She's the only one who can calm me down. I put my hand on her knee and kissed her cheek "Thanks."

I pulled into the airport and parked nearest to the entrance so Sa'Niila wouldn't have to walk far . "Come on" I said to her as she woddled behind me . I held my hand out and she locked hers with mine.

"Hey ma , we here . Where y'all at?" I asked looking around . Sa'Niila pointed "There they are " She said smiling and waving them over . I hung up the phone and made my way over to them . I hugged my mom and kissed her on the cheek. She looked at Sa'Niila and gasped covering her mouth "Oh my gosh! " she mumbled .

Sa'Niila looked up at me "You didn't tell her?"

I shook my head "Oh yeah ma , she's pregnant . We having a boy." I said as she shook her head and gave Sa'Niila a hug she whispered in her ear then pulled back "Im happy honestly. " she said crying .

I looked down at the little girl holding onto my mom leg "This her?" I asked bending down to her level . "Yeah , Onesty this is your brother Deion." my mom said smiling . She flashed me a smile and hugged me "Aww" Sa'Niila cooed . I smiled "Your a cutie ." I picked her up and gave Sa'Niila her Dora suitcase .

"Hey princess. " Sa'Niila smiled pinching her cheeks , she smiled . "Hi" She waved then put her thumb in her mouth. My mom was watching us "Okay , I have to go. Take care of my baby." she said giving Onesty a hug and kissing her.

"Shit you know what I forgot." I said once we got to the car.

"Oooh Dee Dee said a bad word . " Onesty said staring at him . I laughed "My bad im sorry."

Sa'Niila looked at me "What you forget ?" she asked putting her suticase in the trunk .

" A booster seat." I opened the car door and put Onesty in the middle and buckled her up.

"We can pick one up on the way back to the house." She said getting in the car and opening my door for me .

"Appreciate it." I said looking at her . "Dee Dee who is that ?" she asked looking at Sa'Niila . I looked at her through the rearview mirror , "My wife." I answered putting my eyes back on the road.

"She's pretty ." Onesty said after a while. Sa'Niila looked back "Thank you sweetie. You're pretty too."

"Thank you ." she said shyly.

I pulled into Wal-Mart parking lot , "I'll be right back ." I said locking the doors and jogging in the store.

I seen Monae at the register damn she work everywhere , I went into a different line trying my hardest not to be seen so no altercations would happen and payed for the booster seat. I jogged back outside . "Damn you took forever ." Sa'Niila said "Im hungry as hell."

I put the booster seat in the car and strapped Onesty in . "Sorry. Them lines was long."

I drove to the house. "You not coming in?" Sa'Niila asked after I helped her out the car and went back to my side . I shook my head. "No. We'll see you in a minute. "

She looked disappointed. "Okay ." , I walked over to her and opened my arms as she walked into them. I pulled back and kissed her . She looked me in the eyes and smiled and for the first time in 2 weeks I saw the women I married and fell in love with... damn she sexy.

I smiled and went back in the car "I love you!" I heard her shout! I smiled "I love you too." I mouthed waiting for her to get in the house before driving to the condo.

I was in my thoughts when I realized the car ride was quiet , I pulled in the driveway and noticed Onesty was sleep. I laughed to myself as I watched her head fall over to the side and she picked it up only to have it fall back down. I opened the door and unbuckled her, I picked her up and she wrapped her arms around my neck and laid her head on my shoulder.

I struggled to get her in the house because I couldn't find the keys . I felt my pockets and finally found them , "Shit.", "I mean shoot. " I said to myself as I laid her on the couch.

My phone rang .

"Hello?"

"Hey its Travis , Onestys dad."
