A new demon hunter

Jack stood up and suddenly noticed her. He ran over to Emilia and grabbed her head in his arms.
"Emilia?" He look down into her eyes as he sat down, "Emilia?!? Wake up!!! Please!" He slowly felt all his hope disappear as her body made no motion. Joe walked over and held his shoulder tightly.
"Jack..." He whispered as he looked down at her body.
"No! Fuck! No she can't die!!" Jack began to sob heavily. Joe slowly pulled Jack up to his feet and pulled him away,
"Let's go Jackaboy..." Joe held Jack tightly in a hug as Jack continued to sob. Suddenly a bright light came out of her, a ball of fire seemed to be pulled out of her chest.
"Wha..." Jack stared in wonder as it rammed into his chest, he fell to the ground and cried out as he looked up at the sky. Everything suddenly went pitch black.
"Emilia!!" Jack screeched as he felt his skin peel as dark scales appeared. Joe stood back as two long bones emerged from right under Jack's shoulder blades.
"Agh!" Jack choked on his own tongue as it fell out and a long snake-like tongue took it's place in his mouth. The pain was unimaginable, like if emotional heartbreak was a physical pain.
"Ja-Jack?!?" Joe stared in disbelief at the monster in front of him.
"I am not Jack!" The demon spoke with a low, demonic voice. Joe shuddered as the demon stared at him with anger, "you are a lonesome beast Joe!"
"No!"
"You are not innocent!"
"Shut up beast!" Joe covered his ears and backed away like a frightened child. The beast only moved closer and closer as it fed on his fears.
The demon licked it's leather lips as it stood on it's hind legs.
"Where is Jack?!?"
"Gone! And he will never stop the dark king who stole his family!"
The demon jumped on Joe and ripped his throat out. Blood seemed to rain out of the deep wounds caused by the long claws of the monster.
Joe tried to free himself but to no avail.
"So very close minded of you boy!"
The demon laid down upon Joe's body and fell asleep with it's skinless wings lowed to the ground.
