Chapter One





"Sakura? Sakura!? Where are you? It's time for you're studies! Sakura!" Shizune's voice echoed trow out the hallways of the mansion. Little did Shizune know was that seven year old Sakura was out in the garden enjoying the quietness. She had a sketch pad with her and a box of crayons. It's been two years sense she started to live with Tsunade.

Her parents were close friends with Tsunade and we'll respected doctors in her Hospital. The moment Tsunade heard about the accident and Sakura being the only who survived, she tock her in. The only family Sakura had was her parents, but after some investigation Tsunade found some distant relatives. She hoped they could take her in but at the meeting day, that wasn't the case.




"What do you mean she has nothing to do with you're family?!" Tsunade slammed her hand on the coffee table in front her. Across from her was an older lady around her sixties. "Just like I said, she may have some ties with us but when her mother elope with that man.....Im sure there's no more to say." The lady started to get up from the sofa but was stop by her daughter in law. "Mother, please don't you think that was a little to much?" A woman around her thirties, light brown short hair tock a hold of the older woman's hand. "Karura I love you very much but hold you're tongue. You have no saying over this." The old woman pulled her hand away.

"Miss Chiyo how can you do this?" Tsunade hissed the words, not agreeing with any of it. "The child has lost her voice. My grandchildren will inherit part of my company, and I can't have some one like her who can't speak take part of it. If you understand then we can take are leave, let's go Karura." "Yes mother. Lets go Gaara." Karura tock hold of her child's hand. Gaara is youngest grandchild of Chiyo. Tsunade looked at the boy one last time, she couldn't help but see the resembles. Both had a similar eyes color, Gaara and Sakura were definitely cousins.

Sakura was in the other room listening to the whole thing. She was fine in her room, but Shizune told that her cousin was coming with Tsunade. She wanted to see them, but now they didn't want her. Her last hope of having a family was now completely gone.






Sakura was snap out of her flashback when she started to hear voices behind her in the tick bushes. She hold her sketch pad close to her chest and moved slowly away.

"Maybe it's this way?"

"Dobe, just say it. We're lost."

"Don't call me a dobe, Sasuke!"

"Dobe."

"Why you-...Whoa!"

"Hey watch-Aaah!"

She saw how two boys stumble in front of her from the bushes.

"Owww."

"Get off of me." The boy with raven hair said.

"Ok I guess we are lost." The blond one said while scratching his hair.

"Why did I ever listen to you of coming here?"

"Hey don't give me all the blame Sasuke! You wanted to see if the ghost we saw two years ago was real!" The blond boy pointed an accusing finger at his friend.

"Shut up dobe before some...one..see us." Both boys finally noticed Sakura few feet away from them. She wasn't shocked or mad. She just had emotionless expression.

"Umm do you live here?" The blond boy asked. Sakura nodded once for yes. "Ah then do you know if there's a ghost here!? Is it hunted!? How long have you lived here? What's you're name!? Hey do you-"

"You asking to many questions!" The raven hair boy punched his friend.

"Oww that hurt. Sorry, my name is Naruto and mister grumpy over here is Sasuke. We thought this place was abandoned and two years ago we saw a ghost. But who knew that people did live here, sorry."

"We will go, could you tell us which way to go?" Sasuke asked.

Sakura just stared at them for a moment then got up. She started to walk away from them with her sketch pad in hand.

"Hey wait." Naruto said. Sakura turned around to look at them and waved telling them to fallow.

After a while Sakura got them to the front entrance. "Wow you're yard is really big, thanks for helping us....um what's you're name by the way?" Sakura quickly scribbled in her pad then flip it over.

"Sakura?" Both of them said at the same time. "Can't you talk?" Sasuke asked. Her gaze looked away from there's. "Sasuke! Be nice, thanks Sakura. If it's ok with you can we come over tomorrow and play?"

She looked at them and nodded, hiding a small smile behind her pad.
