Unmissable- Chapter 13

Eilish's POV

Okay this may sound really crazy but I think I like Ross but I love everything Ryland and I have and that's too important to let go of. What the heck do I do?

Ross is amazing and sweet and Ryland is so cute and romantic. I don't know what the hell to do. I need some advice but from who? I could go to Ally, she's a really good friend and would probably know what to do. Or I could choose Lori, she's a really good friend too. Maybe Delly or should I just talk to the guys. Hmm. I should talk this all out with Ryland.

I went to Rylands house and went up to his room. "hey," I said.

"Hey," he replied and sat on his bed.

"I think we both know what's going on," I said, looking down. You could feel the awkward.

"Yeah. I need to know how you feel about him," Ryland said.

"I don't know how I feel. I think I like... Both of you," I replied.

"So you LIKE him?" Ryland stood up immediately.

"Well I don't know... M-maybe," I said.

Ryland took a deep breath because he was quite scary when he's mad. "Okay," he said and took another deep breath. "Sorry for my reaction."

"Its okay. I just don't know what to do because I really like you too," I told him. He thought.

"I think... I think you need to decide. Who do you see yourself being happy with? Who brings butterflies to your stomach? Cause I'm happy with whoever you choose," Ry said.

"Thanks Ryland," I said and we kissed for what could be the last time.

I went looking for Ross and found him at a 7-eleven with a slurpee in his hand. "Sup Eilish" he said. "Hey," I replied.

"So what brings you here?" He asked.

"You like me," I said.

"Whattttt...?" He said.

"Seriously Ross. It's obvious. And we need to talk about it" I told him and he nodded.

"So what's the drill?" He asked.

"First off I kinda like you but I like Ry too. So I'm sorta having mixed feelings," I replied.

"So you do like me... Sorta. You just have to choose who you love a lot," he said, slurping his slurpee. "Well yes," I said.

"So who do you choose?" He asked.

"I haven't decided yet! It might take a week or maybe more," I answered.

"Okay, okay," Ross said and he laughed a little.

"Anyways I need to do like... You could call it an experiment but it's more just I want to spend more time with you. We need to hang out" I said.

"As friends or like... Enemies or more than friends or..."

"Friends. When are you available?" I asked.

"Tomorrow. I got something to do soon. So tomorrow, lunch, meet here at 11:30 and we'll decide what to do?" He suggested.

"Yeah, sure," I replied and walked off. 'Experiment' Ross or Ry is underway.

NEXT DAY

Ross's POV

The next day was my time to make a good impression and really impress Eilish so she picks me. That probably sounds really mean and selfish but it's not. I really like this girl and I want to be the best me I can be for her. I woke up and took a shower (double conditioner) then I brushed, added cologne and all the other stuff I do to be awesome. Then I had some breakfast and thought about what I should say. I thought about being really shy and cute, or maybe really flirty, or maybe really protective, or maybe I should just be myself. Yeah. Laid back, easy going and sweet. That would work. She seemed to like that in me. I headed to 7/eleven at 11:20. When I was there I waited until Eilish showed up. "Hey," she said.

"Hi," I answered.

"So what's the plan?" She asked.

"I dunno. Lets just keep it simple. KFC, then we head to the beach and sit there until we're done," I said. Eilish nodded and we headed into KFC which was next to the 7/eleven. We just got a big box to share which had fries, gravy and mashed potato, and chicken wings with two mountain dews. We headed to the beach which was also nearby. "So do you go to KFC often?" I asked just to make conversation.

"Not really," Eilish said.

"I usually go here but I don't want to get fat cause it would ruin all this," i said flexing my muscle and showing my abs. "Of course," Eilish said laughing. "So how's r5?"

"We're good. We wrote an awesome new song the other day!" I exclaimed.

"That's good," Eilish said.

"So I wanna know more about you. I don't know much," I told her and took a bite of chicken.

"Well I love bacon, I dance and I guess I'm pretty funny. I have a brother and I surf," she told me. "Surf? Wow! Man you should've told me that! We should surf sometime," I said. Eilish agreed. So far so good. We talked for a bit and then headed back. "You know Ross, I really had fun. You're a good guy," Eilish said.

"Thanks. You too. Except you're not a good guy you're a good girl," I said and Eilish laughed. "Well I'll see you later," Eilish said and got in her car and drove off. Wow what a day.
