Chapter 19

A.n: Soooo enjoy this chapter. Yeah. Do that. Also, since this fanfic is coming to an end, I've already started writing a new one called 'Endless Summer'. It's a Ross Lynch one, and it'll be out soon, it's gonna be good. :))))))




Emma's POV

I was sitting on the couch in my house when I got a call from Rocky. It was a cold Saturday morning. "Yeah babe?" I asked when I picked up the phone.

"Can we talk?" He asked.

"Sure. What's wrong, you sound... Strange," I told him.

"You'll find out. I'll come to your house," He replied and hung up. One strange boy. I went on my iPod and very soon came a knock on the door. I got up and answered it.




"Hey Rocky," I said, letting him in.

"Hey Emma," Rocky answered.

"So I'm guessing that we're talking about some serious business?" I questioned.

"Yeah. Um.. Fans who are Rocky girls... They don't like 'us', obviously," Rocky began.

"Ooooo," I muttered.

"And they harm themselves because of us. So, I kind of need to decided between you or fame, because I can't stand to see fans hurting themselves," He finished.

"Pity. No really, I'm serious," I said and Rocky nodded. We were still standing, so I led him to the couch. "What do you think we should do?" Rocky asked.

"Wellllll... R5 is just taking off right? I can't let you give up that. Its what you've been doing practically your whole life. And you love it more than anything. So, for the best, you should give up me," I told him.

"No. I can't. You mean more to me than fame. I can't let you go," I replied.

I thought for a while. "BOOOM BABY! THIS GIRL JUST GOT AN IDEA!" I shouted, loud enough for the neighbours to hear. "What?" Rocky asked like an excited kid.

"We tell the fans that we've broken up. That causes girls to stop hurting themselves. But in real life we're dating but we keep it a secret. So you can have me and fame,' I said.

"Wow I'm dating a female Einstein," Rocky replied and I laughed. So Rocky went on twitter and Instagram confirming the 'break-up'. I did that too. I felt like such an evil little female einstein. So after that was done, Rocky and I decided to chill. We went to yogurt land and got some frozen yogurt. Cause what do you do on a cold winter day? Get frozen yogurt. We ate inside though. Of course. When we got back to my place, I checked my phone to see all the notifications. Some were sad, some were happy. But the good side is, the word got around. So we chilled on the couch watching tv. Big Bang Theory. We both knew that we had to be careful in public. We had added a side note in our tweets and posts that we remain good friends, so if any fans saw us together in public they wouldn't think we're a couple. "Hey Rocky?" I asked.

He looked up from the tv. "Yeah baby?" He replied.

"Do you think that things will be... Weird from now on?" I asked him.

"Well... Maybe. Hopefully not. We can still kiss in public, and hold hands, but not all the time. Cause they can't keep me away from you. I don't care If someone Takes a photo of us being a couple, then they find out. Then we make up a plan b. Which could be anything," Rocky told me I nodded and put my head on his chest.




Ryland's POV

I was walking around town shopping for new shirts and Snapbacks when I got a text from Rydel. It read:

Hey, since you're around and stuff, can you pick up Taco Bell for everyone? Rocky is at Emma's so he doesn't need anything. Ross and I want crunchy tacos, Riker, mom and dad want soft tacos. Thanksss :)))




While I was reading the text I bumped Into someone. "Sorry," I said, looking to see a really tall girl with dark hair. I recognised her as Savannah Hudson. "Hi, I'm Savannah Hudson. I sent you a video on twitter, have you seen it?" She asked.

I decided to lie. "No I haven't, sorry," I replied.

"Well I was just looking forward to meeting you. Maybe we could get to know each other?" She asked. This would be extremely awkward due to the fact that I don't like her. "Sure, um, I'm on my way to Taco Bell to get lunch for all my siblings, so um, wanna hang out tomorrow?" I offered.

"Sure, what time?" Savannah asked.

"11:30 at In-n-out?" I asked.

"Sure, I'll see you then. Can I get your number so I can talk to you if something happens?" Savannah questioned. I nodded and we exchanged numbers. "Okay, see you Savannah!" I said and we went separate ways. Maybe she was pretty and nice, but there's no way I would date her. I drove to Taco Bell and hopped out of my car. I walked in the front door. Taco Bell wasn't crowded today, which was surprising. I got what everyone wanted and thanked the guy. I walked out and got back in my car ready for the drive home.




When I got home I plonked the tacos on the kitchen counter. Mom was in the kitchen. "Hey mom, tacos for everyone," I said and mom called everyone down. "Yay! Food!" Rydel exclaimed and hugged me. Random. "Thanks Ry," Ross said.

"Thanks," Riker told me. I nodded and got my tacos. We all sat at the table and talked.

"Ry, I'm sorry about everything. Can we go back to being bros?" Ross whispered to me so the others won't hear. "Sure. I'm sorry I hated you," I said and we fist bumped. "By the way, I'm going to lunch with Savannah tomorrow."

"Cool," Ross answered and ate his taco. After lunch I went up to my room cause I have nothing better to do. I made savannah a contact in my phone then I went on Instagram to be social and all that.




Riker's POV

It was time to leave Tahoe :(. Ally and I were getting ready for the day. After that I went on my phone and took a selfie on Instagram. The caption was: 'Leaving Tahoe :(( had an awesome time with @ally_gator808!' After that, Ally and I got a cart to put all the bags on. There were only a couple, but there was all the skiing gear. We exited the room, double checking we had everything, then we hopped in the elevator. "You know, I had the best time with you," I said.

"It was the best vacation ever! But I still haven't done Christmas shopping," Ally replied. Christmas is in 3 days. I just remembered. And I had so many people to shop for. "Well that is a task for later," I grinned and we walked into the car garage. After squeezing the bags in the trunk, we were good to go. "Lets do this!" I said and pulled out.




We arrived home safely. We got out and unloaded the car. Everyone came running out of the house to greet us. Rydel hugged me. "How was Tahoe?" She asked.

"Awesome. How was here?" I responded.

"Pretty hectic, as always. That's why I'm glad you're here," She said. Ross and Ryland high fived me, then my parents hugged me. "I'm glad you didn't injure yourself," Mom said. I laughed.

"Where's Rocky?" I asked.

"Emma's," Everyone said at the same time.

"Well I have Christmas shopping, so buh bye," I said and got in my car. Ally decided to stay and hang out with Rydel, Ross and Ryland. I drove to the mall. First person, Ally. Hmm... I went into a soccer store and got her the latest, coolest cleats. They were nike and had a blue and black pattern. I bought those and got a card for her. Next was Rocky. This was tough. What do you get Rocky for Christmas... A hairbrush. Nope. I got him some awesome new green converse. For Ross I got a new hollister shirt, for Ryland a new pair of beats by dr.dre cause his old ones broke, and for Rydel I got some awesome custom made shoes that say Rydel on both sides. I wish they were mine, but with Riker on them. And for E-Rat i got a t-shirt that read 'Sass' and a picture of a cat. He'd love that. I got presents for Eilish and Emma too, nothing major. Just some bracelets.
