Mine

the reason

I wore a white lace dress with pinkish maybe purple I dont know. And I paired it with some white pumps. I put on natural makeup and headed downstairs. I waved good bye to jade and walked to my car. I drove tto this fancy restaurant that Ben sent me the address. I get out of my car and head toward the door. I see Ben in a nice suit. And his hair is combed. He gets up right when he sees me.

"Hey babe."

"Hello. This place is great. I love it."

"Thats good. Whats even better is the food."

"Thats lovely." I sit down and look at the menus. I see lots of meals that look good. I look up to see Ben looking at me.

"Ellie."

"Huh?"

"I dont want to leave u but I have to. Im gonna miss u."

"Ben when are u going?"

"Im leaving right after graduation. They said I can come early and I get a good dorm. And my classes would be just a start and I can be better. Im sorry."

I didnt realize I was crying. I cant believe it I thought we could have longer but I guess not.

"Its okay. We can Skype. And I can start my job earlier. And we can make it right."

"The thing is Ellie I want u but I cant make u wait for me. U have a life to live but we can be friends. Like really. Yes we can Skype and text and all. But I think this would be great. Okay?"

"Okay." I nod my head. I have to get myself together I have to." Is it okay if I leave?"

"Yes."

I left without saying anything. I got in my car and called jade.

Ben and I aren't together anymore. He said it would be best since he had to leave early. So um did u ask ur boss?

Yes el he said he would make an appointment on the 12th and then ya. U want to go shopping for work clothes?

Sure we can go tomorrow. And glad he gave me 3 days. So um im coming home just letting u know ill see u later bye

And with that I hung up I drove out and drove home. I put music on but it didnt stop my thinking. When I got home jade hugged me. I took of my heels and walked to my bedroom. We have a one story house. Which im glad for. My room is across from belle's. And my bedroom is big so I picked a big bed. My desk is by it and across is my closet. We have three bathrooms. One by the rooms and one the living room and one in jades room.

I put on some shorts and a shirt. I layed down and fell asleep. I woke up to jade yelling. Belle must not be here. I walk down and she looks at me and her eyes go wide.

"El lets get dressed my boss gave me the morning off. Now go get dressed we aint got all day."

I put on some leggings and a long sleeve shirt. I put my converse on. I grabbed my purse and walked to jade.

"This better?"

"Yes now lets go."

The car ride was quite. Wediddnt talk of course. I found out jade's mom had belle. And I got a text from ben saying that he was sorry. And wanted to see me when we graduate. Of course we would see each other, but , he wanted me alone. Graduation was on the 14th. The next day I might start work. But I dont want my life to go this way I wanted Ben. But I think he doesnt like me no more. Which he doesn't.
