Mistakes Happen

Coming at you from behind the couch. I jump on it and roll.

Ben. I mentally slap myself. I walk up and get my stuff.

"El. Stop." I stop and turn around. I smile. Smile like nothing is wrong.

"What? You come back for me, and not bother to say hi. You made me worry of what I was going to do. Why should I stop and listen, after I walk in on you. You need to learn, not everything goes your way." I yell at him.

I walk off but he grabs my arm. I turn to hear what he has to say but before I can say what, he kisses me. He puts me against the door of my car and continues. I try to get him off me. I finally give up waiting for him to stop when he pulls away. I look over and see Domain. I remember I'm in my underwear and bra. No. No. I shove Ben, and run to Domain.

"Wait its not what it is." He pushes me away. I grab him. "I was swimming. He came, he was the one doing it. Now listen. I'm over him. He is not what I thought he was. I thoughthe loved me. Now you can believe me or you don't, but think about it."

He walks away and I walk back trying to put on my pants. Ben is still there, but this time he looks confused. I stand there in my pants and look at him.

"Been awhile since I saw you. How have you been?" I take my shirt and put it on.

"Fine without you. Got a job, Belle's mine. Perfectly fine with the way you left me. Over you yet? No. Done with you? Yes. Now leave." I didn't wait for him to answer I got in my car and drove.

I drove until I was out of state. Now you might think what I was doing out of state. I was visiting my momma's grave. I had her bury out of state so I could get away from him. I needed space so I came here. Where you might ask? Utah. I curl up in the back of my car and close my eyes. I wasnt going to sleep. All I wanted was a nap.

I put her flowers down, and sit. Sit down by her grave.

'I wish dad would've died. I need you mom. He's getting worse. And my problems are so much different now a days. I know its.'

I wipe my tears and get up. I walk back to my car and tears still going. I need to get home to Belle. My car is a mess. A car seat, bags, shoes, and trash.  My necklace is still hanging on my rearview mirror. It's going to take a little till im home.

I walk in the door and Domain stands up and walks over to me.

"One I believe you. Two you ain't working I'll pay the three hundred dollars. And third." He picked me up and I giggled. "Your mine. And nobodies else's."

He takes me up to the bed and throws me on it. He get under the covers and so do I and we lay there. Until I closed my eyes.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear.
