Mine

Since I didn't turn in my paper, I have no job. Which means I might have to have Dom, deal with the money. But I still need one if I want to get my degree in psychology, I need to have money for it. Driving around from place to place was no use. It's noon and I have bb, who threw a fit yesterday and told me to call her that, had to eat, I decided to get coffee from the Dutch brothers.

Walking in there with bebe right beside me, I get coffee and put some juice in her cup. On the way out she stops and I turn around and spill my coffee. Without looking up I pull napkins out of my purse and startto dab his shirt.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that." I look up and basically my mouth drops, but not really.

"Your fine, but you really keep napkins in your purse?" I laugh.

"Yea I have to bb is messy." He smiles, then looks confused.

"Are you here Nanny?" I laugh and shake my head.

"She's my daughter." He nods, and kinda looks like it's a turn off. Eh who cares.

"That's nice, I have a daughter to." My eyes go wide. Here I am checking him out and thinking he's single, he is taken and has a kid.

"Oh well sorry. I shouldn't keep you away from your wife and daughter." He smiles then says something, I didn't expect.

"She left me after she had the child, but sorry, to kee-" I cut him off.

"No, I'm single, I think." He looked confused." Its a long story."

He nods and then grabs a peice of paper." Here's my number then." I took and gave him mine.

"There's mine to." We go our separate ways and I find bb looking at her cup, sitting on the floor. I laugh and tell her to come with me.

So about being single, what I didn't say was its been a couple months since I lasted talked to Dom. We had a fight that I could relay on him for paying and then the next night I caught him cheating. I know I know, but I even let him explain, and all I got was it was a distraction. I took belle and we drove to the only place I knew woupd help me. Ben's house. He forgave me and here I am trying to live. Getting called off my my thoughts I heard my phone ring.

I search in my purse but couldn't find it so I looked in the baby bag. And found it. I answered with out looking who the caller is.

Look listen you can get a job here and b can stay in the daycare thing. Please come back. Domain, I dont want to talk to him.

No, look it's my fault not yours but its your fault for how you want to deal with it. I wont need you, I'll get a job and an apartment, and all that stuff by myself. I have to go bye.

I hung up before he could say a thing. Instead of going to another job interview I just drive to Ben's. I walk up with belle on my hip and unlock the door. He moved out of his parents house and into a smaller house, who knows why, but its nice. I helped in making it homey. I put her down and instantly she goes to our room. Throw my purse and lay down on the couch. I jump and I hear keys being thrown on the floor.

I look ove the couch and see Ben trying to clean up coffee. He looks up and smiles. I give him a weird look. He looks different from the last full time I saw him. Which was graduation.

"I dropped it because I didn't know you were on the couch." Breaking my thoughts, I just shake off what he said.

"Ya I arrived not to long ago." He nods then goes back to cleaning it up.

I sit right up, and look around, I'm not in my room, I'm in Ben's. But why, then it hit me, I got really drunk, so many things could've happened. I personally don't care because I know nothing happened. So I get up and walk out to find Ben cooking with belle, and I hear the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it." He looks at me and nods then mouths good morning. I walk up to the door and open it. My mouth drops and he closes it. He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder.

"You shouldn't be wearing that, that is only for me." I remember what I'm wearing, shorts and a t-shirt. I had to think of the last time I saw him. A month ago. Since then he has a beard starting, and looks like he hasn't slept at all. He walks past the kitchen where Ben can see us and I smile and wave to him. I have to idea why I'm smiling.

"Where are you going?" Ben put belle down and walked after us, with belle following. I get put down and I see clothes going into a bag. Then I see them taken out.

I grab belle, while they yell and get breakfast off the stove. I end up grabbing here toys, and sneaking out into my car. I was busy trying to get her in her seat I didn't hear the door close. My car door open and bags were thrown in. I look up and see Ben. He gives me a weak smile, then goes. Dom comes out smiling and gets in the driver seat and I get in the passenger.

"Why?" He is still looking forward when I asked.

"Why what?" I chuckle and look out the window.

"Why did you do that?" He finally looks at me and pulls the car over. I rearrange myself to see him. He turns off the car.

"You see me, this is only half of it. My business is failing I have fired many people because I don't have you. I'm going insane. And I'm sorry about that." I look to see belle watching her t.v. thing I got her.

"Next time tell me in person, not on the phone." I smile and he smiles. He turns the car on and starts driving home.
