There are infinite possibilities where two people can meet. One of the many is by friendship, it is absolutely the foundation of a good relationship, and also it brings security to the significant other. Friendship binds all of the characteristics of two individuals in one vessel. It is the core for infatuation, seeing ones soul, dreaming of a future together and above all... love. It's as if everything about love is on a painter's pallet. From red to orange, from orange to yellow and from yellow to green. Every kinds or moods of love is on that pallet. You may change it as long as two colors meet to bring in a new shade and that is the case for Alex Mathews.

Alex can bring any colors to life with a stroke of her incredible hands. No one knew where the phenomenal artist got this talent.

Alex is the only daughter of Henry and Sylvia Mathews. When Alex was a child, she would roam around a room and touch every color she sees. To a child, every color is fascinating and all you could do is wonder how people could invent such wonderful beauty. So when she grew into her 20's she was inspired to be a painter. She knew she was different from all the girls from her school, she knew that the graceful thing she could do is with her paintings not with her personality. She was teased for being different and she doesn't know why. It was always a question why she was made to what she is right now. She even blamed herself when her parents divorced. She thought it was because of her indifference and her parents could not comprehend to her changing behavior. It was devastating seeing her parents fight all the time when they can't reach into a certain conclusion. Maybe it was for the best, she thought.

When Alex is feeling a certain emotion, she would translate it into her paintings. Day and night, the splash of her colors was channeled through her sentiments in life. She isolated herself from people and became obsessed with her own illustrations. To Alex her paintings are her cries of her own consciousness. It was remarkable but no one really noticed it. Until one day... someone did.

Coreen Morgan was a sophomore in St. Claire University. She was an aspiring musician who was dreaming of having her own concert in front of a very large audience. Coreen was very energetic and her goals in life was promising. You will never see her standing or staying in one place not unless she's playing the piano. She was crazy about music, heck, her birthmark on her upper left arm is almost shaped like a musical note. She was born to create beautiful melodies. A great artist of her of her own generation. Of course, a quiet painter like Alex would notice such beauty and grace. How could she not?

There is a rumor where it only takes around three seconds to fall in love. Almost all of the lovers would count quietly when they meet a random stranger. Three seconds is all it takes.

One.

Two.

Three.

The last number will slow you down but your heart will be quicker. Alex knew she was in love with a stranger. She couldn't forget her face, her hair, her hands and her beautiful smile. She drew an outline of her from her memory. As she closes her eyes, the picture of Coreen would be much clearer and realistic. A colorful silhouette as she calls it.

One.

Two.

Three.

A day will never be ordinary again for Coreen Morgan when she saw a beautiful incantation of a person. Lovely as the sunrise and charming like the moon. In just three seconds, she fell in love with a stranger. She can only see this person through a window where the light is just right to focus on this fascinating stranger. All of Coreen's friends was baffled by the change of her behavior. They all knew that she was never seen in one place. But now... she could sit for hours in one place just looking straight at a building far away from theirs. The young lady would catch herself dreaming of this person. Smiling and loving this stranger until her very last breath.
