What Really Happened? (A Lauren and Dani Cimorelli Story)

Chapter 9

Dani's pov.

Lauren picked the phone up and messed around on it for a few minutes and then I saw her just staring the screen.

"Ummm...Lauren... What are you looking at?" I asked

She showed me the phone and there was a note that said

"Dani, Lauren or anyone else if your reading this then I'm not dead. I'm alive! Some guys are about to take me to London England! I don't know why! Please help me!"

I looked at Lauren, what the heck did we just get into.

"So... London?" I asked

"Yup... London" she said awkwardly

"How exactly are we supposed to go to London?!?" I asked

"I don't know Dan, I just don't know." She said looking down

"How much money do you have?" I asked

"Like $100" she said

"I have 50... Together that's not even close to what tickets cost for London." I said

"What if we snuck into a plane heading for London?" She said looking back up at me

"Umm... That might work but it's illegal!" I said

"What more important? Getting caught or Caroline?" She asked

"Caroline... Dude I never thought you would be the one to come up with the illegal plan!" I said laughing

"Well you thought wrong!" She said laughing.

"Hey Laur! What about our family?" I said

"I don't know... We could just tel them we are going to Savannah's house!" She said

Savannah was one of our close friends but she lived in Seattle, Washington. She was our closest friend besides Caroline. She has blond hair and green eyes and she's kinda short.

"That might work!" I said excitedly

"Yea! Dan we should probably head downstairs the family is probably worried or something." She said

I took her hand and we walked down stairs and the whole family decided to watch Tangled. After the movie me, Lisa, Amy and Lauren decided to go to the beach. When we got there Lisa started chasing us around and I was hiding behind a giant watching Lisa chase Dani. Before u knew it I was tackled by someone. I looked up and it was Lisa. She started to tickle me. That's when I heard Amy's war cry and felt more weight on top of me. I mouthed help to Dani and then I felt Dani on top of me too. I groaned and everyone started to laugh. They finally got off of me and we went back to the house. When we got inside the house me and Dani went outside on the trampoline and called Savannah.

Lauren's pov.

PHONE CALL

"Hello?"

"Hey Savannah!" Me and Dani said at the same time

"Hahaha hey guys!"

"So you heard about Caroline right?" Dani asked

"Ya, I heard. I was the at the funeral idiot!" She said

"Haha yea sorry it was kinda overwhelming for me..." Dani said

"Yea I know... Me too." She said

"So we found something out about the accident." I said

"What?!" Savannah said

"Caroline didn't really die" I said

There was silence on the other end of the phone

"Savannah?" Dani asked

"WHAT?!?" She yelled

"She didn't die! No one else knows Savannah! You are the only one we told!" I said

"W-w-what d-do you m-mean she's not d-d-dead!" Caroline asked

I explained the whole story to her.

"So, you guys want me to cover for you?" She asked

"Yes!" We both said

"Alright! I'll do it!" She said

"thank you soo much Savannah!" Dani said

"Anything for my favorite people from California!" She said

"Awwwww.. Your so sweet! Ok call you later!" I said

"Ok bye guys!" She said

"Bye!" We said hanging up

We walked inside and told mom Savannah asked us to stay at her house for 2 weeks. My mom said that it was fine with her and we went upstairs and started packing.
