What Really Happened? (A Lauren and Dani Cimorelli Story)

Chapter 18

Dani's pov.

Savy and Lisa are in critical condition and I'm really scared. What if they don't make it? The doctor told us that Lisa is making a very fast recovery and he predicted that she will probably live. But Savy was already really weak before she was shot and she lost a lot of blood. I remember Lauren being covered in blood... That was probably from Savannah because she was trying to keep her awake. I walked into Savannah's room. She was asleep and there were a lot of wires and tubes attached to her body. I went over and sat on the edge of the bed. I wish those big green eyes will open and look at me again. After about 10 minutes of just sitting there I heard Lauren run into the room.

"Lisa's awake!!!!" She yelled

"Really!!!" I said

"Yes now come on!" She said grabbing my wrist and running to Lisa's room.

When we got there I saw Caroline sitting on a chair next to Lisa's bed talking to Lisa. Lisa turned her head and I saw her brown eyes for the first time in a while. I ran over and hugged her.

"Owww!! Dani! That hurts!" She said laughing

"Sorry Lisa! I thought I lost you!" I said tears in my eyes.

"Awwww! Come here you little hobo!" She said opening her arms.

We hugged again. I am really happy we got her back.

"Where's Savy?" She asked

The happy mood suddenly turned to a sad, depressing one. I looked at Lisa and I knew she could tell something was wrong.

"What happened to her?!" She asked

I tried to say something but nothing came out.

"After you blacked out... Toby shot her in the shoulder... She was bleeding a lot more then you were and she was a lot weaker because of the other injuries... She isn't awake yet and they don't know if she'll make it yet." Lauren finished for me.

Lisa sat there shocked. Caroline looked over at me. She looked a lot better. She was still super skinny but she was regaining some strength. Then I looked down.

"When can I see her?!" Lisa asked

"Lisa! You can even sit up yet!" Caroline said

"I'm going to go eat" I said walking out of the room and going to the cafeteria.

Lauren's pov.

Lisa is awake! I'm so happy! I hope Savy wakes up soon.

"How bad are your guys injuries?" Lisa asked

"Lauren broke a couple ribs, I was and still am severely dehydrated and I am super skinny, and Dani broke her wrist like really really bad so she's going to have that cast for a long time." Caroline answered

"So was Savannah's injuries worse then mine?" Lisa asked

"Well Savy was weaker when she got shot because of her leg and arm and she lost a lot more blood then you so I guess yea her injuries were worse" I said

"Oh... I want to see her." Lisa said

"I know Lisa you will but right now you have to rest." I said.

I laid down next to Lisa. Caroline went to Savannah's room. I hugged Lisa as hard as I could without hurting her.

"What was that for?" She asked

"I missed my big sister" I whispered

"Awwwww! Don't worry I'm right here" she said

She stroked my head which made me sleepy. I fell asleep in Lisa arms happy she was ok.
