I took a deep breath to get ready to start my story.

"It all started 2 years ago... I was the nerd of the school, my family was poor, my dad was starving for money, no wonder he was a jerk. One day my dad told me we're visiting my grandmother, I was so happy, I was SO innocent back then, I went with him, and then he handed me to Jay, more of sold me for more than 1 million dollars."

My eyes turned glassy.

"I have spent a year abused and raped by Jay, my dad would tell my mom that I don't want to talk to her everytime she calls, because we didn't have quite the relationship we have now. Trey, Ian, Pia, Sam, Jace and Lissa, that's where I met them; the boys were forced to take drugs, shoot people they don't want, the boys did the dirty work. While us the girls were just abused and raped. One night, Jay came back drunk and raped me without a condom, which made pregnant, when he knew, he let me go, without thinking, then I went to the police, told them, and they saved my friends, I kept my child and I had a little boy named Giovanni, yeah Giovanni is my son, not my brother" I explained through tears reaching out for my cheeks.

"After I gave him birth, I swore to work hard and learn self defense, not care about anyone that doesn't care about me, I learned to show everyone, that I am more than fine, my friends and I created TBS to prove that everyone should be afraid of us, we were kicking asses at school."  I continued.

"That's my story, that's who I am now." I said as I took my last sip of beer.

"I don't know what to say..." Alec said.

"Well to be honest, till this day, I don't know what to say to myself everytime I remember it." I said chuckling.

He put his hand around me as I laid on his shoulder.

"Come on, we're here for fun" I said as I got up and offered my hand he took it and I pulled him up we went to the bar had some shots, and made our way to the dance floor.

You know the quote, Dance like nobody is watching, that's exactly what Alec and I were doing to Feel so Close by Calvin Harris.

Having fun was our ultimate goal tonight so we did.

As all drunk people do, you know the drunk stuff, Alec and I kissed a few times, can't say it wasn't good, because trust me, these stomach butterflies they talk about well darling, don't need no butterflies because the guy gave me the whole damn zoo.

Back home, I am currently getting ready for school because the final exams are coming up and gotta pass that stuff, I am finally leaving this crappy school.

Once there, I headed to my english class.

"Miss Giavanni, would you please come here, I would like to talk to you" The english teacher said so I stood up and went to her.

"You need to pass those exams, or you will have to take extra classes in summer or worst, repeat your year" She explained.

I nodded quietly, I will admit I am a little surprised.

"Do you need me to get you help, or are you okay by yourself ?" She asked.

"Nah thanks" I replied.

I knew that I had to study eventually.

The day flew by and it's my last period. I have a free period instead of going home, I went to the library to try and organize my studies and all, because I wanna get my grades together, USC is my one of my favourite colleges and I am moving to LA after prom.

Passing through the hallway was the easiest thing for me, except Tiana bitch Fitzgerald standing in my way, and that's exactly my situation at that moment.

"Look who's failing this year" Tiana said trying to make a joke out of me.

"Says the one that should be in college and failed 8th grade" I revealed her secret. That story was a secret but the fun part was that she failed 8th grade twice.

I walked away and then remembered.

I turned and said "Twice" I gave her a smirk and walked my way to the library.

As I walked into the library my eyes laid on Alec that was reading Fifty Shades of Grey.  Wow I am totally surprised.

"So you're reading? Fifty Shades of Grey ? Impressive."

"You're in the library ? impressive" he mimicked me with a small smile. I chuckled at what he said.

Alec was wearing his usual white V-neck shirt with sleeves, it was finally getting cold outside. The shirt was perfectly around his muscles defining them so good. His messy and hair brown eyes were just so awesome, coming from a girl that try to look like she tried, but did she? Np, never.

"Are you checking me out, little badass?" He asked. Yes totally, wait what did he just call me badass.

"Is that my new nickname?" I asked sitting on the chair opposite to him.

"I don't know is it ?"

I pulled out of my backpack some books to get started. But first the glasses I never wear. My black eyeglasses, that I put on while watching. Yp, I didn't say studying, because I never do that.

"Cute eyeglasses you should wear them more often, it makes you look beautiful" Alec's voice hit my ears as I was reading my english subject for the essay. My heart starts beating a little faster. What the hell is happening.

"Did Alec Cahill just compliment me?" I said with a smirk.

"I don't know love did I?" He winked at me and closed the book and put it back in its place.

"What are you doing ?" He asked sitting next to me.

My heart continued beating faster by the second.

"I am just catching up and stuff, because I am failing and I need to pass my exams to graduate"

"Want some help ?" He offered

"From you, no thanks."

"Oh come on you know you wanna spend more time with me" He whispered in my ear.

"1. Of course not.
2. Fine, just make sure I don't fail my year." 1. Was total lie. Alec makes me happy in some ways no one even my friends have ever made me. Is it friendship or more?

I shook my head to clear thoughts and start focusing. But how the fuck am I supposed to focus when Alec is next to me ?

After few hours, Alec had finished giving me all I need for my exams.

Turned out Alec is pretty sweet, I mean smart. Okay definitely wrong vocabulary.

I sat down at the bleachers watching the football team practicing. Suddenly Alec's naked body caught my eye, I never knew he was on the football team.

I collected my stuff and started walking to my car.

Driving home was fun, when Scars to Your Beautiful is blasting on the radio.

Once home, I entered the door there they were...
