Riker's pov
Ross an Ashley looked at each other and kept laughing. Both of their eyes looked different when they looked at each other. The same way I looked at Sierra. Why wont she look at me like that? I though to my self. She doesn't notice me but I try to. I think that when she noticed that we were matching, that was the beginning. I looked at her, and I go to really look at her, and she did not care. She looked at me with her green eyes that made my heart jump into my mouth. She looked at me the way that Ashley looks at Ross!!! That loving way. I hope she saw me, the way I looked at her. Just be a man and ask her out! What's the worst thing that could happen? She could laugh at me and never talk to me again. I was debating weather to listen to the voice or not. Sierra pulled me out of my train of thought. "Riker? Earth to Riker? Hello?" "Oh, sorry." I said. She was looking at me like she could see into my head. "What where you thinking about?" she asked. "Nothing, I'm just worried about a test." I lied.
Ross's pov
She actually looked at me! Why cant we be together already. Just ask her out already! A voice in my head yelled. Just do it already. She likes you, why cant you see that? Just leave me alone would you?! I screamed at the voice in my head. Then the voice went away and I was left alone. Ashley was staring at me like she had something to say, but wouldn't say it. I want to say something to, but it wouldn't come out of my mouth. "Hey, if you guys aren't doing anything after school, would you like to go to the fair with us?" Riker said, noticing the way Ashley and I were staring. "Sure, we would love to." Sierra said, giving Ashley a look. It wasn't a bad look, but I'm not quite sure what it stood for. Then the bell rang and we all ended up going to the same class. Riker sat next to Sierra and I sat next to Ashley. We all sat in the back, the two girls between the guys. I could stay like this forever.
