Paris' night life was full of mysteries and adventure. The city was lit by the light radiating off the Eiffel Tower and the lights in various houses.

Even though many Parisians were out and about at night, majority were soundly asleep in their homes.

But not all of them are peacefully asleep nor enjoying the quiet atmosphere...

"Come on Adrien! Lighten up! Your dad talked to you!" Plagg tried cheering up his miraculous holder. Key word: tried.

"He told me that he was going on a two week business trip to America, Plagg. Two weeks." The blond by the name of Adrien Agreste groaned. His eyes were stinging with the tears that flowed down his tears.

"So? Why does that make you so upset?" The creature pondered, nibbling on a small piece of cheese.

"Because he won't be home, Plagg." The boy sat up in his King size bed. He rubbed his eyes, trying to ease the pain. After the pain subsides a bit, he wiped the remaining tears off.

"What makes the difference from when he is home?" Plagg knew that Gabriel Agreste was an anti-social and isolated man. He doesn't seem to understand why it bugs his holder that his father who rarely talks to him is going on a trip.

"Usually when he leaves on a big trip, I'm left alone, Plagg. I will have no one except for you." Adrien got out of bed and read the time on his Alarm clock.

11:40pm

"I still don't see how that makes a difference..." The cat was really trying here. He isn't the best at advise, you know?

The teen made his way to his bathroom, "Normally, when he's home, Nathalie and Gorilla are around. But, because of this trip, he will be taking them with him. Pretty much making it be only me and you in this huge house."

"Ah, and your afraid of being alone? Since it makes you feel forgotten?" Finally something smart came out the little creature's mouth.

"Well, yeah, I guess." Adrien turned on the faucet at the sink and splashed his face with cold water.

"Hmm... If you are so afraid of being alone- with out human interaction that is- why not pay a visit to that one girl?" Plagg was on a roll.

"That one girl? Oh! You mean Marinette? I guess I can visit her..." He smiled, remembering his kind classmate's face.

"Plagg, Claws Out!"

**

"Princess? Are you awake?" The famous superhero, Chat Noir, lightly tapped at the sky-roof window of his classmate: Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

"Ugh..." The bluenette stirred awake. She rubbed her eyes and focused her sight on her trap door that leads to the balcony. She noticed a dark figure with bright green eyes staring at her.

"AH!" She gasped, falling out of bed and quickly turning on her lamp beside her bed. She looked up to see the face of her partner.
"Chat Noir?! What are you doing here at-" she looked at her clock,"- 11:55 pm?!"

Boy signaled at the locked sky-roof trap door. Marinette made her way up the ladder, irritated. She unlocked the door and in came Chat Noir.

"Can you please explain why you decided to come in the middle of the night to scare me awake?" The girl put her hands on her hips, her Ladybug side showing.

Chat stayed silent. He turned to his classmate, his eyes still puffy from crying earlier. She noticed this and her expression soften, making her way down the ladder and onto her bed, to where she signaled Chat to sit.

"What's wrong Chat? Why were you crying?" Marinette engulfed the hero in a hug; She was worried for her partner's well being.

"D-don't w-worry about I-it purrinc-cess" he choked out in between sobs. He didn't want to make his princess pity him, but it was to late for that.

"Don't just come to my room, at midnight, cry on my shoulder, and tell me to 'not worry about it'! Can't you see it breaks my heart to see you like this?" Her blue eyes started to water. He looked at her and wiped a tear that escape from her sockets.

"I'm sorry, Princess. I didn't mean to make you cry. It's just- it's just that my civilian life isn't the best at the moment..." Chat sighed, "You see, my father is going away on a two week business trip out of the country and as a result, I'm going to be left alone in a big house, with no one to talk to."

Marinette hummed in response. She knows all too well how it feels to be left home alone. Her parents were either busy making deliveries, or too busy going to baking conventions across Europe.

"Well, you can come by and visit for as long as you would like?" The petite girl spoke up, "I'm usually alone at night with my parents doing stuff their business. I won't mind some company from my favorite kitty."

Chat smiled, touched at the girl's offering, "I would love that, Marinette. Thank you!" The feline hugged his classmate. She giggled at his actions.

The rest of the night, the two spent talking about little things and cuddling each other on the pink bed.

The next weeks, Chat has been visiting his dear princess every night. Marinette was more than happy, knowing that she helped her poor kitty to cheer up.

The two no longer have to experience anymore lonely nights now that they have each other.

Honestly, I feel like this one sucked ;-;

I'm sorry for the lame reason to why Adrien was feeling down. The poor boy just wants to be loved!
